Mass Effect: Movie Pentalogy Fan Cast

Fan cast for an Epic five part Mass Effect saga...

I have stated before that I believe that a TV series is the best way to tell the Mass Effect story on-screen. But that doesn't mean I believe it's the only way.

Right now they are working on a Mass Effect movie, which is fine, but I think the best way to tell the whole series is to do five movies.

I know that's not going to happen, which is part of the reason this is in the "Fan-Fic" section.

This is how I would do it...

Mass Effect: Touches on the main story of the first game, and what was the beginning of Mass Effect 2, would be the end of Mass Effect 1 (Cliffhanger).

Mass Effect 2: Would basically touch on the main story and develop Shepard's new crew.

Mass Effect 3: The Reapers arrival and resolving the Krogan and Salarian Conflict.

Mass Effect 4: Resolving the Quarian and Geth conflict, along with the Thessia Mission.

Mass Effect 5: Discovering Cerberus plans, and attacking Cerberus base, War with the Reapers, and the end.

If it were up to me, each movie would be at least 2 hours and 45 minutes long. And right now you're just thinking "that's ridiculous". But to get the most out of a 100+ hours trilogy, you're going to need to make LOTR type movies.

Here is who I would choose as the people behind the camera...

Jonathan Levine (50/50, Warm Bodies) as the Director

I know he wouldn't be the first choice, but I think Levine would work great. One of the great things about Mass Effect is the relationship between the characters, and Levine does character relationships and growth very well.

If you don't know who he is, go watch 50/50, he's a good director. Heck, he even made a believable relationship out of a human and a zombie in Warm Bodies.

Jack N. Green (Unforgiven, Serenity) as the Cinematoghropher.

Drew Goddard (Alias, Lost, Cloverfield, Cabin in the Woods, Dardevil the series) & Drew Karphsyn (K.O.T.O.R, Mass Effect 1 & 2) as the Writers

Drew Goddard knows Sci-fi and characters, Drew Karphsyn knows Mass Effect and these characters, they represent the best of cinema and the best of Mass Effect.

Ramin Djawadi (Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Game of Thrones, Person of Interest) as the Composer
