Actually, in regards to your comment to RedNTheHood, I specified in my synopsis that the Rangers were "young adults". I was going for college-age as well.

But as for your choices that are different to mine, it could work. I actually think more high school when I look at your picks, ironically. But they're still intriguing choices.

Alex as Tommy is definitely my fave, though it would certainly be a reimagining of the original character. ;)

Why are they almost primarily Disney actors who can't act? Seriously, Taylor Lautner? That guy's never been an actor. Brenda Song? What notable works has she done to prove she can so much as play someone who isn't retarded? Corbin Bleu? Are you [frick]ing high? I'd prefer if you gave reasons why these "actors" should be playing these roles rather than just presenting them to the world with the age and height as justification.

Sadly, I've never seen those actors do what I'd call acting. The others are great picks, but those ones I named I heavily disagree with.

No, it's not just you. I could see Donald Glover as Blue, if the filmmakers really thought having the Black Ranger black, and the Yellow Ranger yellow was offensive.

As far as your MMPR fan cast, for Jason/Red Ranger I would definitely go with Taylor Lautner in the role even though Liam Hemsworth would be my 2nd choice but with Lautner in the role he would actually be believable as Jason, as the leader of the Power Rangers

Brenda Song as Trini/Yellow Ranger I definitely agree with as well, so no argument from me

Lily Collins as Kimberly/Pink Ranger I definitely agree with this pick as well, so no argument from me

Anton Yelchin as Billy/Blue Ranger another great choice that I agree with

But as Black Ranger I would have gone with Donald Glover in the role or even John Boyega

Alex Pettyfer as Tommy/Green Ranger/White Tiger Ranger is also another perfect choice

Great choices all around
