Leonardo Dicaprio as Sub-Zero/Kuai Liang/Tundra
While this may seem like an odd choice to some, I believe that in a true dramatic Mortal Kombat movie, Dicaprio has the acting chops to pull off the torn hero of Sub-Zero.
Tom Hardy as Scorpion/Hanzo Hashashi
Hardy has proven himself as an AWESOME actor in films such as Inception and Bronson (awesome, by the way), Tom Hardy would be an amazing Scorpion, proven his acting abilities. On a side note, however, could someone point in the direction of a film with him doing an American accent? I want to know if can pull it off.
Jay Chou as Liu Kang
If you've seen The Green Hornet, you know how AWESOME this guy is. If you really want to know why Chou would be a perfect Liu Kang, watch him as Kato in The Green Hornet.
Liam Neeson as Raiden
I really don't understand why this hasn't been suggested before! Neeson is a WONDERFUL actor, and he and Ewan McGregor were the only good things about The Phantom Menace. Neeson pretty much screams Raiden. He looks like him, he has the acting ability to pull off a god, so why not?
Hugh Jackman as Noob Saibot/Bi-Han/(Elder) Sub-Zero
Hugh Jackman is best known for playing Wolverine, but the man is a very good actor, and imagine him as a STRAIGHT UP EVIL character, who doesn't give a damn about human life. He's willing to betray his own brother because of small matters, and kills Scorpion's family for the hell of it. Cool, right?
Djimon Hounso as Cyrax
Cyrax needs to be portrayed as an ultimate badass, and there is no one more badass than Djimon Hounso. His voice would also make for a great robot voice.
Mark Strong as Quan Chi
Mark Strong pretty much IS Quan Chi in my mind. He looks like him, and he's shown that he can pull off evil characters like Quan Chi. Imagine Strong with Quan Chi tattoos, hanging out with Tom Hardy as Scorpion, and you'll get why I love this choice.
Ray Park as Baraka
Ray Park is an awesome creature actor and martial artist. Put that together and you get a perfect Baraka.
I still need casting for Sektor, Shao Khan, Kung Lao, Reptile, Smoke, Kitana, Jade, Mileena, Sonya, and Kabal. Got any ideas?
