Here is a list of my casting on who i would like/have a chance of being in the new Chris Nolan superman reboot, I’m also at the end going to throw in some justice league/ future sequels casting
OK this will be my first thing I've ever posted on here so sorry if there’s any screw up guys! I'm a huge superman fan and have had some of these ideas on my mind for a long time now and always wanted to tell people.
SUPERMAN/CLARK KENT/KAL-EL
Jake Gyllenhaal
Ok I know what you’re thinking ...no.
but here me out, this is more of a theory if anything, since this is Chris Nolan’s/David Goyers reboot i was thinking back on the Batman Begins casting and Jake 'apparently' got to the final two with Christian Bale, with Goyer wanting Gyllenhaal but Nolan wanting Bale - we obviously don’t know if that’s all 100% true but i think it could happen... i really don’t know if Chris Nolan would let an unknown be a lead in a movie like this ( he just cast Leonardo Dicaprio in inception), all im saying is he likes his big casts even ifs its for the smaller parts like Gary Oldman - commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman - Lucius Fox also Aaron Eckhart in another bigger part plus has worked with his sister Maggie (i know that shows like a stupid reason!)
But I’m not ruling out an unknown, since cause of the whole actors not wanting to be typecast thing ….
The studio I’m sure wouldn’t mind it since he’s a quite a big name, plus he’s got really big recently from working out from the Prince of Persia movie, and if he could get even bigger to fill out the superman suit!?
I know he doesn’t look/sound (voice) exactly like what superman is suppose to look/sound like but he dose have the - dark hair, blue eyes, muscular build, height – plus, he can act
he wouldn’t be my number one choice, but I think he could be a possibility
Brandon Routh
I had no problem with him in superman returns (which I hated), I thought he was one of the best parts of it he played and looked a good Clark Kent.
Also some Henry Cavill I think is a good choice haven’t seen a lot of him to be honest but I think he’s got the look, can act (of what I’ve seen) and defiantly has poetical.
Ps. I’m a smallville fan so I would love to see tom welling in the superman suit one day, hopefully on the TV screen cause I think it will never happen in a movie, plus smallville has given us the best portrays so far of Lois and Lex from Erica Durance and Michael Rosenbaum
Lois Lane
Rashida Jones
Mostly because I’m in love with her, but also cause she hasn’t been in huge box-office movies, but I think she could fit the character perfect.
Anne Hathaway
Shes also another I would love to see as lois, she can act and could nail the character, plus would be good to see her away from all the rom-coms she’s being doing over the last couple of years.
Rachel Mcadams
Love her, great actress she was good in the Notebook, heard good things about her in Time travelers Wife and loved her in Sherlock Holmes
has the look, acting and would be a great choice for Lois
Lex
I think Lex doesn’t have the be the main villain in the movie, but more of a supporting and important character to have – and we need a lex who could be badass and not so old as they have given in all the movies
Michael C Hall
Firstly cause I’m a huge fan, second - cause casting Michael C Hall in a movie is always a good move and I want him in more bigger movies. Plus he's good at playing the bad guy! Sadly he got diagnosed with cancer, and I hope it all goes good and he can have an great career.
Daniel craig
I’m only thinking of him because mark miller name dropped him for his superman movie he was doing with Matthew Vaughn (who I wouldn’t mind taking over this movie to BTW!), I’m a fan of Craig’s to, and has the look and I think he could pull of a good bad guy.
Billy Zane
He’s a apparently had a meeting with Chris Nolan about a movie, he definitely looks like Lex, the only part we would all be worried about would be his acting but im sure Nolan could pull a good performance in him!.

Young up incoming acting already had big movies lately with star trek and terminator I think he’d be a great choice for Jimmy so just throw on a bow tie and give him a camera

OK people may say he’s most probably to good looking to play a geeky guy but I think he’d be a funny/different type of choice for jimmy so why not?.

Cant really think of anyone else for the Flash after Ryan Reynolds is going to play him but if someone like Adam Brody or Scott Porter got cast I wouldn’t hate it that much I suppose if give they a chance.
