My (fightmasternoel) take on Nightwing part 3

Joker was really on one tonight. Spraying acid at people and throwing marble bombs. No police could get close without getting hit. "Robin sit this out." Batman said to Jason Todd, the new Robin. "No, I want a shot at the clown!" The kid bucked. "Jokers dangerous, he seems like he cant fight, and maybe he cant, but he sure as hell can cause mayhem. Sit back and let me and Dick handle this." Batman commanded. "Fine." Robin snipped. "Looks like he's changed his style a bit, last time we fought he was using melee attacks with that freakin hammer, now he's full blown range fighting." I explained to the bat. " I noticed too." he replied. Me and Bruce hopped out and fought together like we were back in the good ole days. CRACK! Went my fist as it hit Joker. "OW yep theres that old sting. hehehehehe...So what happened bird brains, decided you should grow up a bit,or did daddy just kick you out.HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" The Joker went off. I figured he would know i was the original robin. "We got this from here!" GPD said as they hand cuffed the clown. Bats had already disapeared. "Hey buddy,mind coming down to the station and telling us your side of the...WAIT!" One of the officers yelled as I hopped off before they asked me anymore questions. Meanwhile back at the cave. "How come that guy got to get in on what should have been MY ACTION!?" Jason yelled. "First off, dont talk to me that way. Second Dick is the original Robin, and has had experience fighting joker." Bats replied. "Whatever, you should let me handle some more stuff. Im not a baby and ive been doing this for a few years now." Robin whined. "Maybe I will maybe I wont." Bruce brooded as he walked off. 'Im gonna go out tonight and fight some thugs to prove myself.' Jason thought as he ran out the cave exit. Meanwhile, in Dick Grayson's apartment. 'It was nice working with Bruce again, and the kid seems nice enough.' I thought. 'Im still amped from the fight tho and im gonna go patrolling tonight.' I thought as I put my costume back on.Later that night in Gotham. "Marko, are the guns ready?" A man at the docks said. "Guns? Oh you mean there not christmas presents? oh boo." Robin said entering the scene. "Look squirt Batman's not here to protect you kid, and you aint no original Robin, that guy could fight." The man said. "Oh really." Robin said as he hopped down and drop kicked the man. "Shoot the kid!" a bunch of goons yelled. "Damn it." said a guy who Jason assumed was Marko."Where you going?" Jason said as he chased him while avoiding bullets. "AAAGGHH!" Jason screamed as he got shot. "hehe." Marko chuckled."Lets ice this phony punk ass." Marko commended. "Knock knock, come on someone say who’s there." A voice said. "Who the hell are you!" One of the goons yelled. "Not what i asked for but close enough, answer is...NIGHTWING, and im here to kick some ass!" I shouted while he emerged. I then proceeded to wipe the floor with Marko and his goons. "I could have survived you know." Jason groaned. "Sure kid, lets get you to Bruce." Nightwing said picking up Robin and seating him on his WIng cycle. Then he drove off. The next morning. "Ah your awake, best avoid master Bruce for a bit more I would suggest, master Jason." Alfred said as Jason woke up. "Yeah he's pretty pissed. But i managed to calm him down some." I said entering the scene. "You learn anything, kiddo?" I asked. "Yeah that i need to get tougher." Jason coldly replied. Im concerned for that kid.
