I never thought we would get another Star Wars movie until Lucas had passed away. And I never hoped that he would pass away, but looking at the situation as a fan, I really thought that would be the only way a New Star Wars movie would be even be up for discussion.
But now that Lucas has sold Disney, not only will there be a Star Wars Episode 7, but there is going to be a LOT more Star Wars hitting the small screen and big screen.
After the success of AOS, there is said to be talk about a Live action Star Wars TV show.
I thought I would tell you guys my idea for a Live Action Star Wars Series if it were to happen.
I would adapt the Thrawn Trilogy. The movies are obviously not going to follow the Thrawn trilogy, but I think it would be great if the could turn those books into a TV series. And it would be great to see some of what happens to crew of the Millennium Falcon before Episode 7.
Producers: Kathleen Keneddy, George Lucas, and JJ Abrams
Writers: Drew Goddard, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Damien Lindelof, and Chris Collins.
Ok, say what you want about their movies, but when Lost and Fringe were out, were they not the best shows on TV? I honestly don't want these guys writing the new Star Wars trilogy. But if they were hired to do a Star Wars TV series, that would be amazing.
Also, if you don't know who Chris Collins is, he has been a writer on shows like, The Wire, Crash, Sons of Anarchy, and Star Wars : The Clone Wars. As a matter of fact, he wrote episodes that I believe were the best on the Clone Wars show. He would be a great addition to this group of writers.
I'm not going to cast everybody from the books. I will cast characters I believe played the most crucial roles in the story.
Charlie Hunnam as Luke Skywalker
Clea Duvall as Leia Organa-Solo
Nathan Fillion as Han Solo
Chiwetel Ejiofor as Lando Calrissian
Evangeline Lilly as Mara Jade
Joaquim De Almeida as Talon Karrde
Hugh Laurie as Grand Admiral Thrawn
John Noble as Joruus C'Baoth
