My Marvel Cinematic Universe
Marvel studios should have had four movies to build to the avengers movie. Below is how I would have had the marvel cinematic universe
Captain America May 2010
Iron-Man July 2010
Thor May 2011
The Incredible Hulk June 2011
The Avengers May 2012
Have a character leave the avengers, I chose the hulk.
The Incredible Hulk 2-The Hulk leaves The Avengers as he thinks everyone wants to control him. Stand-a-lone sequel. Villain should be the leader. (Movie should be about his journey to peace or something like that.) 2013
Dr Strange 2013 Baron Mordo. Love interest human at the end whist visiting her nick fury recruits him.

The Avengers 2 (Dr Strange, Iron-Man, Thor, Captain America) 2014
Iron-Man 2 - stand a lone sequel. Have him leave the avengers and the mantle of iron man as he doesn’t want the stress of being iron man and he gives the mantle to James Rhodes. Villain- Mandarin 2015

War-Machine - James Rhodes Original story different to Iron Man 2015
The Avengers 3 (Dr Strange, War-Machine, Thor, Captain America) 2016. Nick Fury Dies. Maria Hill new director of Shield. At the end Thor Leaves
Thor 2 Stand A-Lone Sequel. Leaves the avengers Goes back to Asgard to stop the executioner and enchantress. 2016

Captain America 2 Cap leaves, gives up the mantle of Captain America, as he wants to just live a normal life. But he has to save his fried Bucky, as he wants revenge as the winter soldier. Flashbacks in various parts of the movie. 2017

The Punisher. Follows the ultimate universe story line. Post Credits Maria Hill shows up at his cell as frank is waiting for his death penalty (something to do with the plot of the movie). Maria says that if he wants to survive he can join the avengers. She then shows him his suit that resembles Captain America’s. 2017
Winter Soldier Movie. Follows the ultimate universe with the original source material here and there. 2018
Avengers 3 (Maria Hill, Dr Strange, War Machine, The Punisher, Winter Solider) 2019.

Dr Strange 2 Stand A-Lone sequel. Villain = Dormamu 2020
War-Machine 2 Stand A-Lone Sequel. Villian = Modok and AIM 2020
The Punisher Stand A-Lone Sequel. Villian= Jigsaw 2021
Winter Soldier Present Day Stand-A-Lone Sequel Villian New and improved red skull. Villian should have more screen time. 2021

I like the thought put into this, but I'll be tired of the Avengers stuff if it continues past 2015. I'm a huge fan. I'm even one of the admins on Facebook's MCU, but I still think that the MCU needs more than just Avengrs tie-ins.

@ jjmeylar If Marvel want they could have a couple of years devoted to the cosmic side.

The Runaways May 2015
Power-Pack July 2015
The in-Humans April 2016
Guardians Of the Galaxies June 2016
The Runaways 2 May 2017
Power-Pack 2 June 2017
The in-Humans 2 September 2018
Guardians Of the Galaxies 2 November 2018

Not really feeling you layout Marvelfan not enough mixing between the release of cosmic and earth based movies. Man im really hoping that as of 2013 marvel studios starts pumping out 4 -5 movies a year. I say this because they have a large set of characters and teams to put onto film, then in the future x men, ff4, spiderman and ghostrider will revert back especially the latter 3. Here is my list....like this hasnt been done b4 lol (Based on their current characters they have at their disposal)
2013: Iron man 3 (have mandarin pull the strings but do not reveal him till the end), Thor 2, Black Panther, Dr Strange
2014: GotG, Hulk 2, Cap 2, Antman
2015: Iron fist, Runaways, Inhumans, Avengers 2
2016: Thor 3, Dr Strange 2, GotG 2, Black Panther 2
2017: Iron man 4 (have him face off against manadrin), Cap 3, Antman 2, Iron fist 2, Hulk 3
2018: Avengers 3, Inhumans 2, Runaways 2

i think we should see the role of leadership develop over the course of the first 2 avengers movies. I would like to see both iron man and cap take lead during certian situations that requires them to do so.
Avengers 2: Masters of evil aka just the MASTERS in the movie
Avengers 3: Kang (maybe similar story to EMH) or another cosmic threat (maybe Thanos)
Avengers 4: Ultron and A.i.M/Hydra
Avengers 5: Loki somehow masterminded all this and his true intentions and goals come to fruition

*I havnt read the Runaways yet but ive read about it on Wikipedia i think it may also be an awesome tv show that is set within the MCU. if that happens it would allow for other movie to be released, i dont know jus an idea.

There is more i want to add... i think but its late and im gonna hit the hay now so i will add more 2morrow l8trz

@ace101 i think 4 right away is too much, i say start with three in 2014, then in like 1017 go up to 4

There are a lot of different characters we need to see. Nova, Cage, new FF, and Punisher should NEVER be in an Avengers movie. Cap hates Punny and everyone follows Cap. NO NO NO. Dr. Strange should be doing the recruiting for THE DEFENDERS, War Machine should be in a glass case and only brought out for war or last resorts.(hulkbuster like).RUNAWAYS NOAWAYS! BUT the Winter Soldier stuff pure genius baby!!! I mean buddy.

@Ace101 i would also like marvel to make at least 4 movies a year but i would like them to have the runaways, gotg, in-humans and power-pack post avengers.

@Maddmonkk marvel could go with the defenders storyline but just call the movie avengers- have dr strange, hulk, black panther and namor then have avengers 2 movie but have it based off the defenders storyline

@MaddMonk I agree with u on everyting especially that the Punisher should never be a part of the avengers hes always been solo..sort of lol.

@CreacK hey you never know, if the Avengers really knocks it outta the park and i mean really knocks it outta the park...$1 billion plus, then they could push for more movies per year..you never know lol :P but ya im expecting them to up their number of releases to at least 3 in 2013 or 2014.

@Marvelfan2011 i think Marvel studios ability to release both cosmic and earth based movies at the same time will help keep continuity and diversity i mean you dont want the MCU to be Avengers Focused. BTW i think they are going to release GotG in 2014 cause its in development stages right now. Also by the time you reached Avengers 3 you didnt have a single original avengers member in the roster and i dont think maria hill would join the avengers lol. The Defenders should also remain separate from the Avengers.
