The newest installment in my MCU is finally here! It’s been a few weeks since I posted an article related to my Marvel Cinematic Universe, but I didn’t forget about it! So far I’ve posted 3 of the (Thus far) 6 movies planned. I recommend you read them first so the story can make more sense, but I’m not going to force you to.
The Black Panther

Moon Knight

Daredevil

The fancast is the same, but I guess I should go over it for those who didn’t read the first one.
Anthony Mackie returns as T’Challa AKA Black Panther
Vincent Cassell returns as Ulysses Klaw
Zoe Saldana returns as Ororo Munroe
Djimon Hounsou returns as Syan
In #2 he only has a minor role, definitely not as big of role as he did in #1, but that doesn’t change my choice!
James Gandolfini reprises his role as Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin!
Sorry if anyone's mad that i didn't introduce any major new characters, unless you count Klaw, but i thought i should focus on the characters already introduced!
Found this fan made poster at comicvine.com!
PREMISE:
Anthony Mackie returns in the title role in the follow up to “The Black Panther”. T’Challa sets out to New York City to find his fathers killer to avenge his honour. But what he doesn’t plan on is the corrupt businessman Wilson Fisk (James Gandolfini) getting in his way, or his romantic interest with Ororo Munroe (Zoe Saldana) slowing him down. Will T’Challa be able to find Ulysses Klaw (Vincent Cassel) and end his nightmares once and for all? Find out in “The Black Panther 2”
SYNOPSIS:
A flashback of events in #1, including T’Chaka’s death and Black Panther and S’yan seeing the events on the news about Ulysses Klaw.
We see Wakanda, which is now filled with high tech buildings, and looks like a futuristic jungle. T’Challa is seen telling everyone he is leaving Wakanda for the time being and orders Syan to be the leader until his return.
T’Challa, now with Syan offers his help on the trip, but T’Challa explains that the people of Wakanda need a leader, and right now it’s him. He drives off in a vehicle, and is shown arriving in New York City.
Although the whole world is new to him, he eventually manages to adapt living in his car. He walks through Times Square and sees posters and videos everywhere promoting Ulysses Klaw, now a world renowned physicist for creating a device that allows him to create anything he can perceive out of sound.
He is eventually recognized by a lady who calls his name and it is revealed to be Ororo Munroe, his former lover. He tells her he is there on a business trip, and she invites him to live with her until he goes back to Wakanda.
T’Challa is now shown in Munroe’s house, devouring food she gave to him. She says that she got a job working for a professor. T’Challa, now at night climbs through the dark streets of New York.
He is amazed at all the crime that happens in NYC, and manages to stop an attempted mugging. He soon finds Klaw’s office, where he encounters Klaw for the first time since he killed his father.
Klaw had no idea who he is, and after a brief conversation Klaw calls his security. Black Panther fends them off using combat and attacks Klaw. Klaw reaches for his sound weapon, and slowly puts it on his right hand. He creates an energy blaster from it, and blasts Black Panther off of him. Black Panther and Klaw both stand up as a huge group of security barge in the door.
Black Panther tells him that “it’s not over”, and climbs out through a window. Security follows him in a chase scene as Black Panther’s athleticism proves to be too much for the armored security. He arrives back at Ororo’s house through a window, only to see that Ororo has been waiting for him, and realizes where he was.
She tells him she knew he knew he wasn’t here on a business trip and she knew he was here for Klaw. T’Challa tells her that he’s dreamed off getting his hands on him, but Ororo tries to convince him he’s not a murderer.
She tells him that she had done her own research on Ulysses since arriving in New York. She tells him not only of how he is corrupt, but that he is associated with the Committee, an underground criminal organization with a mysterious leader called the Kingpin.
They soon confess that they have missed each other and soon embrace and lock lips. They start kissing each other and it leads to the bedroom. (I don’t have to explain what happens in there, do I?)
The morning after, Ororo leaves for her job, and T’Challa is contacted by Syan. He tells him that a group of entrepreneurs working for a big company want to meet him to talk about expansion of tourism in Wakanda.
As T’Challa meets with them, he realizes that the CEO of their business is none other than Wilson Fisk. He says he wants thinks that tourists would be interested in the Black Panther, and that he wants to meet him personally, to which T’Challa promises he’ll arrange a meeting with them the next day.
The next day Black Panther meets up with Kingpin, who asks him to be a part of their organization the Committee in exchange for money. Black Panther is disgusted and declines, and Kingpin reveals he thought that would be his answer, and gets some criminals to take him away.
Drugged, Black Panther awakes in an empty warehouse. Surrounded by thugs with guns pointed at him, Kingpin tells him that he wasn’t asking him to join the Committee – he was telling him that he would join. Black Panther tells him to go to hell. Kingpin tells the thugs not to do anything, and let Klaw take care of him.
Klaw enters and is surprised to see the man who had attacked him earlier. He begins beating him, without using his sound weapon. Black Panther tricks Klaw and begs him to kill him, saying he has grown miserable since his father’s death. He reveals that Klaw killed him, and we see a flashback of the murder.
Klaw only smiles, and continues beating him. Black Panthers’ powers have grown weak. He opens one of the canisters hidden on the necklace around his neck.
Just in case you don’t know, the triangle shaped “Canisters” I’m talking about are around his neck here.
He eats the heart shaped herb and his powers become restored. He easily defeats the thugs and it is finally just him vs. Klaw.
Black Panther counters most of Klaw’s creative moves from his sound weapons, and in an emotional moment finally defeats him. He rips off his mask and sound weapon and ties the unconscious murderer to a nearby pole. He goes on a search for the Kingpin.
He finds Kingpin eventually who has Ororo tied up. He obviously deduced his identity and tells T’Challa that he’ll join the Committee, or his loved one will die.
Black Panther attacks the Kingpin, who lets his grip go of Ororo. She is falling as Black Panther throws himself after her. He grabs her in air, and is trying to get a grip of the wall using the retractable claws on his left hand. He eventually grabs onto an outside window sill.
He holds onto Ororo, and he says that since they know who they are he doesn’t know where to go. She says she knows a place they can go.
They go to a safe house and are met by Moon Knight and Daredevil. They believe he is a hired gun from the Committee, but Ororo says they need to speak to Marlene. She asks if they can stay with them, to which they accept.
THE END
Well, what’d you think? It took me a while to come up with a storyline for this that I thought could beat the first one, which I enjoyed so much!
