Set two years after The Ten Rings Organisation kidnapped Tony Stark, he has returned home… But Tony will never be the same. Tony suffers a severe chest injury during a kidnapping in which his captors attempt to force him to build a weapon of mass destruction. He instead creates a powered suit of armour to save his life and escape captivity. He later uses the suit and successive versions to protect the world as Iron Man. Now Tony is put the test in ways he cannot stop, the company he has inherited from his Father, Stark Industries has entered bankruptcy, someone has taken money from the company but who is it? Tony now must suit up as the armoured avenger, Iron Man and find the thief before it is too late.

Style:

I am a huge spy/thriller fan. I love Skyfall & Limitless in a way, this film would be the ultimate blend of the two. Obviously this film would not be an origin story, but you would see glimpses of the origin in flashback sequences that happen at random parts in the film. This film would be the first in my Marvel Cinematic Universe that will have films of Thor, Captain America and The Hulk.

Behind The Scenes

Director
Neil Burger

As stated before, I am a huge fan of Limitless , so Neil in my eyes is perfect for the job. Neil has directed some fantastic films like The Illusionist , his directing style and pacing I think would prove to be a great director for a new take on the Armoured Avenger.

Written By
Warren Ellis & Leslie Dixon

I love Warren Ellis’s run on Iron Man, one of his most famous storylines was featured in the most recent film, Iron Man 3 . I think Ellis is one of the most underrated writers in all of comics and I would be on board if he wrote an Iron man film. Leslie Dixon on the other hand has never written a comic book movie before, she has written some cult classics like Freaky Friday . If you ever watch her films she nails the dialogue and I feel that she would be perfect to assist Ellis as writer.

Music
Michael Giacchino

You may know him from the J.J Abrams Star Trek films, but this guy is truly brilliant, he nails the large and loud sounding scenes but also delivers in the soft and emotional scenes, which woul be perfect for this film. Here is a little of Michael’s work.

Cast

Tony Stark/Iron Man: Milo Ventimiglia

This one might get some hate, but it’s a choice I stand by. I’m so sick of seeing Matt Bomer or Bradley Cooper cast as Iron Man, so I decided to be original and originality usually gets hate. I like Milo, I have recently bought the TV show, Heroes and I thought he does a great job in that show, while my Tony Stark would be very young instead of a 40 year old, my Stark would be late 20’s early 30’s.

Pepper Potts: Katherine Heigl

Now I don’t read much Iron Man comics, I mean I’ve read Warren Ellis’s run and that’s about it. But Katherine Heigl is a fantastic actress who very rarely gets the recognition she deserves. Her performance in Knocked Up always makes me laugh and seeing her and Milo on screen would really make for some hilarious scenes.

Trent Warnes/Ghost: Jesse Eisenberg

Another original choice, while I know that Ghost doesn’t have an identity in the comics, I have made up one called Trent Warnes. Trent works for Stark Industries and is the reason why the company is going bankrupt due to his brilliant IT skills and hacking ability. I think Eisenberg would nail how I envision Ghost to be, he would be a guy who gets mistreated by Stark but ultimately doesn’t care because at the end of the day, who is winning the war?

James Rhodes: Laz Alonso

I have always loved the idea of Rhodes being a sought of “mentor” to Tony. Having Laz be a few years older than Milo I think this would be a brilliant fit, while Rhodes doesn’t become War Machine in this film or the next, he does appear in the film Secret Avengers as War Machine and the leader of the team.

J.A.R.V.I.S. (Voice): Jude Law

I will stick to the idea of Jarvis being a computer thing in Tony’s house and suit. I don’t like the whole butler idea it makes Iron Man feel too much like Batman, well for me at least. Jude Law for me can play Jarvis and someone else in a future Ultimates/Iron Man film.

Happy Hogan: Lee Pace

I like Lee Pace; he is actually a pretty great actor. Now I know he is playing the bad guy in Guardians Of The Galaxy . But in my MCU he will be Happy Hogan, I think Happy needs to be a badass. He can be funny but he still has to be a badass.

So that’s it! I hope you liked it. If you did hit the thumb up button down below and comment below, maybe there was something you didn’t like; chuck me a comment and let me know how you felt about this take on Iron Man. I am Khan; you can follow me on Twitter @HammerTimeBitch. Cheers, peace.
