if DC/WB wants to do Supes right, they need to cast a virtual unknown, like last time. and they also need an EXCELLENT script and director. get the DC artists/writers involved more, like Marvel is, and that way they can be sure we dont get a de-saturated, watered-down version of the DC heroes.

Lois Lane - Zooey Deschanel - I know she isnt on your list but she is so adorable and cute and whimsical etc. I reaaally like her and I think she'd do a good Lois Lane!
Jimmy Olsen - Logan Lurman
Perry White - Ray Wise
Jonathan Kent - Robert Redford or Clint Eastwood. I would love Redford in this role!!! Great Gatsby is the man!
Martha Kent - Sissy Spacek.

I'd love to see Routh, Deschanel and Redford to this Superman reboot!! Deschanel is so obviously Lois Lane!!!

Jon Hamm would've made sense 10 years ago I'm not sure 39 is the right age they are looking for...
James Caviziel has acting skills but at 42 should be too old...
A relative unknown would be good...
Joe Manganiello interesting suggestion he doesn't really have a classic Superman look but what the hell he has the height at 6'5" ive only seen him in comedies...
Henry Cavill has been rumor/suggested so much got a decent look and acting chops but kind of short at 6'...
Rick Malambri ive heard before not as much but interesting choice as he relative unknown and is 6'2"(like Brandon Routh) not sure about the acting ...
