Robot Underdog is currently in progress of adapting the "Dragon Ball Z History of Trunks" timeline into a 3-part live action web series. We've spent quite a bit of time in the developmental phases to ensure that the story and characters are brought to life in a fashion that is true to the anime.

We feel that Dragon Ball Z has never truly been adapted correctly when brought to live action (we know most of you feel the same) and we're changing that. We plan on bringing the characters to life in a way that's never been attempted before while still staying true the the characters & the story.

We will use our web series as a pitch to FOX in hopes of being signed on to create more DBZ content and potentially a feature film.

The new web series has been written by none other than the foremost authority on all things Dragon Ball- Derek Padula, author of Dragon Ball Z “It’s Over 9,000!” When Worldviews Collide http://amzn.to/1f9VAyl and the upcoming book called “Dragon Ball Culture” http://bit.ly/1ehhkof

When reading the scripts you can literally feel the genuine personalities & feelings of the characters & while it is certainly an "adaptation" the core of the characters remains true.

Most of the main cast members have been announced - here are the announcement photos for Future Gohan, Kid Trunks, Android 18 & Android 17.

*We are still casting for Bulma & Future Trunks

Yah, this looks like it has potential.

When I was in middle school, me and my friend had a huge crush on Android 18, ha ha. This girl has definitely got it. She is very beautiful.

I always considered Trunks to have white features, since no where does it say that Bulma was Asian.

mecha@i don't think the cartoons specified their nationalities. most of the characters are probably Asian but many people are mistaken when they say Goku or Vegeta needs to be Asian. Like Superman they are aliens not Asians.

As a huge fan of DBZ in my childhood I hope we see the rise of a movie franchise in the future. Maybe when DC and Marvel start to decline by 2030.

so why are all these little companies making these bootleg versions of DBZ while fox made that piece of crap a few years ago???!! And both companies are saying that they're trying to develop a web series for FOX. This feels like a waste of time...why doesn't fox just hire one of these companies to officially make one of these and invest the right money to make it right??!!

UGHH! [frick]. FOX!
