Hello folks niklander here with my long in develpment new fancast. This fancast will be about the PSX classic game METAL GEAR SOLID. In Metal Gear Solid players handle the role of legendary soldier Solid Snake who must sneak in Shadow Moses in order to stop a group of terrorist from FOXHOUND a disbanded military organization who after the death of BIG BOSS by the hands of Solid Snake it's members demand Big Boss body or they will fire a nuke on a random country in the USA.

Well now lets move on with the cast.
KARL URBAN AS SOLID SNAKE: A legendary soldier who after he killed his mentor Big Boss and his friend Gray Fox in Zsansibhar Land Snake vanished. He is found by former leader of FOXHOUND Colonel Roy Campbell to stop the terrorist in Shadow Moses. Karl Urban to me is a beast for an actor in his films he is always playing different characters and he always manages to bring the character to life. I mainly casted Urban as Snake after I saw him playing Judge Dredd in DREDD. His perfomance totally reminded of Snake and I believe he can pull it off.
ALEC BALDWIN AS COLONEL ROY CAMPBELL: Former leader of FOXHOUND who wants to stop the terrorist in Shadow Moses. When you are looking for who should play Campbell you want an actor who can bring the drama required and when I saw Pearl Harbor(Horrible movie if you ask me totally tried to cash in on the Titanic success and failed miserably) it was when I saw Baldwin playing Lt Col James Doolittle that was what made me believe he could do the character justice.
GEMMA ARTENTON AS NAOMI HUNTER: A scientinst assigned to help Solid Snake via radio support aka as Codec. Although it seems she has a more personal motive for this mission which could bring death to Snake. Artenton whether you like her or not she is an amazing actress in my opinion and if you dont believe me look at Dissapearance of Alice Creed and Byzantium. She can bring the drama needed for the character.
FAMKE JANSSEN AS NASTASHA ROMANENKO: She is a weapons expert and helps Snake on his mission. To me that was a no brainer I mean you need an attractive and a hot actress who could bring the heavy smoker and weapon experts to the big screen and Famke Janssen popped up in my head. Her work in the Xmen films and as the villainous Bond Girl Xenia Onnatop is what inspired for her as Nastasha(Seriously who comes up with the names of the Bond girls!?Talk about subtlety)
LIU YIFFEI AS MEI LING: Mei Ling is the mission analyst for Snake she is usually humorous towards Snake which causes for the latter some weird awkard moments whenever they are talking. Liu Yiffei has starred in mostly Chinese films like The Four, The Assasins,White Vengeance she had her Hollywood push alongside Jackie Chan and Jet in The Forbidden Kingdom. She would bring the cuteness required for the character of Mei Ling.
CILLIAN MURPHY AS HAL ''OTACON'' EMMERICH: Otacon is the creator of Metal Gear Rex a bipedal tank capable of nuclear strike capabilitties. He is rescued by Snake and helps him out during the game. Cillian Murphy is a fan favorite for the role and I can see why he is an amazing actor and if a Metal Gear Solid movie happens he will be awesome. Besides it would be nice for a change to see him do more drama instead of unneeded Scarecrow cameos(Sorry folks but that is the truth).
EVAN RACHEL WOOD AS MERYL SILVERBURGH: A newest member of FOXHOUND who refused to work alonngside with the terrorist and she got imprisoned along with DARPA Chief Donald Anderson. She has a crush for Snake and she is trying to match up with his skills. Evan Rachel Wood I choosed for Meryl after I saw her work in King Of California,Life Before Her Eyes and The Conspirator. She can bring the rookie feel Mery has in the game to life and that's why I choose her.
JOE MORTON AS DONALD ANDERSON: One of the first hostages who Snake saves but then dies mysteriously by a heart attack after giving Snake information about the situation at hand. Joe Morton is known for playing Miles Dyson in Terminator 2:Judgement Day and for having a part in Smallville sure the role is small but Morton could deliver it.
ROBERT FORSTER AS KENNETH BAKER: Former president of ArmsTech and one of the leading manufacturers in the arms industry, during the time of the Shadow Moses Incident. He is the second hostage who Snake saves and dies afterwards mysteriousy in front of Snake. I choose Robert Forster due to his work in Jackie Brown,Olympus Has Fallen and The Descendants.It's a small role but crucial to the story and I believe that Forster can do it.
CHARLIE HUNNAM AS LIQUID SNAKE: Genetically engineered brother of Solid Snake and leader of FOXHOUND who then causes it's defection.He wants revenge for Solid killing their father Big Boss. I admit I was stuck in this choice between Chris Hemsworth and Charlie Hunnam until I choose Hunnam after I watched some episodes of Sons Of Anarchy and Deadfall. Hunnam could play the villain part and he would look good in it.
TOM HARDY AS GRAY FOX(NINJA):Gray Fox after he was blown up after Snake bested him in combat in Zsanibar Land he was taken by a secret organisation(In MGS2 we know them as Patriots) and he was kept alive thanks to nanomachines and given prosthetics to become the ultimate soldier. He remembers bits and pieces of himself and he wants to ''feel'' alive again. Hardy was chosen after his work in Brosnon,Warrior but I mainly chose him after I saw him in TDKR as Bane(Say what you want but he was beast in that movie) he can bring the roughness and the soft side of Gray Fox.
PAUL BETTANY AS PSYCHO MANTIS: An agent of Foxhound who is a powerful psychic who can control people at his will and can move objects. I choose Bettany from his work in The DaVinci Code. He can do the crazy part perfectly and he would not make the part look cheesy. Besides he needs to be in some good action films(Looking at you Priest).
ANTJE TRAUE AS SNIPER WOLF: Sniper Wolf is one of the renegade mebers of FOXHOUND who are fighting alongside Liquid Snake. I choose Antje Traue due to her work in MAN OF STEEL and PANDORUM. She is an amazing actress(Best female villain I have ever seen in a while) and I think Sniper Wolf suits her perfectly.
JEFF BRIDGES AS REVOLVER OCELOT: Revolver Ocelot is the right man of Liquid Snake although it seems Ocelot has a different agenda. I choose The Dude for Ocelot due to his work in True Grit,Tron and Tron Legacy and of course The Big Lebowski. There is no denying Bridges is a great actor and he can handle or should I say own the mysterious character of REVOLVER OCELOT.
ADEWALE AKINNUOYE-AGBAKE AS VULCAN RAVEN: A member of FOXHOUND he is known for carrying an M61 Vulcan when he fought Snake. I believe Adewale is an underrated actor and he needs to be is some really good movies. I think by giving him the role of Vulcan Raven he would do it awesome.
WILLIAM ATHERTON AS JIM HOUSEMAN: Houseman is the United States Secretary of Defense during the Shadow Moses Incident, serving as the mission controller via AWACS. He wants the data of Metal Gear Rex and orders a nuclear strike to erase all evidence. No wonder why I choose Atherton for the role you need a guy who can do douche parts and Atherton's work in GHOSTBUSTERS and Die Hard 1 and 2 can prove that.
LOU TAYLOR PUCCI AS JOHNNY SASAKI: Johnny was the guard guarding hostages Donald Anderson and Meryl Silverburgh but when Meryl escaped he knocked him out took his clothes and caused for poor Johnny to have diarhea. He serves as the comedy relief in the imprisoment parts of Metal Gear Solid 1 and 3 but he has appeared in all of the games. I choose Taylor Pucci due to his work from Evil Dead his role kinda was the comedy relief and I choose him for that reason.
