Hello guys Niklander is back with yet another fancast. This time it's a fancast of our favorite Wallcrawler Spiderman. This cast will come along with a story which will be set after the most awesome movie ever THE AVENGERS making it a part of Marvel's Cinematic Universe.[I mean what was the point of TASM if not using it for Spidey to join the Avengers is beyond me] The story will have a reboot to establish some of the characters
THE STORY:
The movie begins with at Oscorp industries where there we see Norman Osborn along with two scientist Adrian Toomes and Mac Gargan working on Oz[The formula which gives birth to Spiderman and other villains their powers] the experiment begins with test subjects like spiders scorpions and other insects. From a conversation we learn that Mac Gargan has an advanced state of cancer and he doesn't have a lot of time to live. Norman Osborn talks with Toomes that Mac Gargan would be the perfect canditate for Oz or the ''suit'' to help him. Osborn doesn't really care he just wants to see if Oz can be used as a more updated version of the infamous SuperSoldier serum.
We then see for the first time Peter Parker along with his only friend Harry Osborn getting ready to visit Oscorp industries along with their school. Peter has slowly started a close relationship with Gwen Stacy and asks Harry who has some better luck with the ladies for some help. Harry tells him to be himself. While inside the facility the students pass through some state of the art machinery and they see the test subjects. Suddenly Norman Osborn shows up and starts the tour[We see Harry little nervous we can understand that their relationship as father and son is not going well] As soon as they see the test subjects for Oz we hear Peter's screams and we can see that he is bitten by a spider in the commosion Peter passes out and one of the students crashes the bug. Norman is shocked but at the same time a smirk shows up in his face since his oppurtunity of testing Oz has finally come. Peter wakes up in the hospital and there we see Mac Gargan disquised as a doctor taking from Peter a blood sample.
After some time Peter starts to develop powers[He has increased strength he can climb to walls and an improved stamina] after a while he makes a spandex suit and joins wrestinng matches to gain some money for his familly Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Peter's relathinship is also going well with Gwen and he is invited to dinner to meet with her father Captain Stacy. Captain Stacy takes a liking to Peter.
Unknown to Peter he is beign followed by Mac Gragan and he is making notes so he can use Oz for himself. He lets an Oz infected Scorpion bite him but he doesn't get the results he wants since he slowly starts to transform into a hybrid of human and scorpion. Toomes ''helps'' Mac Gragan by injecting him with a black serum. The transformation stops and Mac Gragan is put to isolation for further studies but he escapes.
Peter is also having issues his Uncle sees that there is something different with him and tries to talk to him.Uncle Ben tries to tell im that he is growing up and he has to make decisions that will test him as a character as he puts it with great power comes great resposibility.Peter angry leaves uncle Ben and goes for the wrestling match. Peter is not paid at the wrestling match because he wears a mask and he is fired at the same time a robberer has taken the money but Peter states'' I am just a guy police can handle it''
Peter goes to his house and there he sees his house surrounded by police Catain Stacy tells him that his uncle was shot down by a robberer. Peter hears from a police radio the whereabouts of the killer and goes after him. He beats up his uncle's killer and then he sees that it was the robberer he choose not to stop earlier. Peter now realizing what his uncle tried to taught him leaves the guy in a nearby police station.
Into 6 months Petet has improved his suit and he has adopted the identity of Spiderman. At the same time Mac Gragan has gone into hiding an he makes a suit which will help him control his unstable powers. He completes the suit and he names himself Scorpion.
Meanwhile in Peter's neighborhood there is a new girl Mary Jane Watson and she starts hanging out with Peter Gwen and Harry.
Norman Osborn has rectuited a team of ex black ops soldiers to find Mac Gragan. But Scorpion kills them once they find him
Peter learns from Gwen that her father doesn't trust Spiderman since he lost his wife at the NYC invasion[This happened at the Avengers]. Peter thinks whether should tell Gwen of his secret indentity but he decides he is not ready.
Mac Gragan now as Scorpion begins his acts of terror and Spiderman tries to stop him but Spidey loses the fight when Scorpion tries to finish him Captain Stacy intervenes and Scorpion flees. Captain Stacytries to capture Spiderman and he sees for a brief moment Peter without his mask.
Mac Gragan wants revenge on Norman Osborn and Adrian Toomes and attacks Oscorp industries. Osborn activates some robot guards but they cant stop Scorpion. Captain Stacy orders Swat teams to go at Oscorp industries. Spidey comes to the rescue and fights Scorpion. Spidey sees Osborn and tells him to leave. Soon Spidey is outmatched and just as he is about to die Capt Stacy with a group of Swat men try to save Spiderman. Scorpion kills the Swat unit and injures deadly Capt Stacy. Spidey now with all of his strength manages to fight Scorpion but Scorpion dies when he tries to push Spidey to an electrical cord Spidey makes a avoiding maneuver and Scorpion due to the high voltage output dies.
Spidey tends to Capt Stacy to help him but he tells him it's too late for him but he tells him he is sorry and the was wrong about him and makes him promise to watch over Gwen. Peter promises and Capt Stacy dies
There is a funeral for Capt Stacy and Peter tries to comfort Gwen. Norman Osborn is now convinced that Spiderman is Peter Parker and he moves on to more experimetns along with Adrian Toomes.
At the end of the movie a man is on hospital bed[Location unknown] and someone walks in with a tape. It's Mac Gragan notes of him watching Peter Parker. The man tells him''I know that you gave your promise to Richard Parker to watch over his son ifsomething happened to him but now Osborn knows that he is Spiderman the boy is in danger. We have to warn him. We then see that the man is Nick Fury himself and theman on the bed is Agent Phil Coulson who is alive and well after the events from the Avengers.
THE CASST:
CALLAN MCAULIFFE AS PETER PARKER/ SPIDERMAN: Callan Mcauliffe is no stranger to people he has starred in movies like I AM NUMBER FOUR,FLIPPED anmd the upcoming anime adaptation of KITE. Originally I thought of using Dylan O Brien but I found him too goodlooking to play Spiderman. I believe that Mcauliffe will bring everything we know and love about Spiderman to the maximum.
ANNA SOPHIA ROBB AS GWEN STACY: Well Anna Sophia was a no brainer for me she has the looks and the acting skills to play the first love of Spidey. She has starred in films such as RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN, SOUL SURFER and she now stars as a younger self of Carrie Brashaw in The Carrie Diaries. I think that she would make a pretty awesome Gwen Stacy.
ANDREW LINCOLN AS CAPTAIN STACY: Yeah the badass zombie killer Rick Grimmes as Captain Stacy. Andrew Lincoln is a talented and versitile actor and I believe that he will nail the part of Captain Stacy.
JEFFREY DEMUNN AS UNCLE BEN: I chose DeMunn for the role of Uncle Ben due to his roles in The Walking Dead, THE GREEN MILE and THE MAJESTIC. In The Walking Dead he was a character of being wise and always helping out people. That's why I choose DeMunn for the role
BLYTHER DANNER AS AUNT MAY: I was searching for days for who I would cast as May Parker and then I had an epiphany after watching THE LUCKY ONE[Lame movie people]. Blyther Danner has starred in films like MEET THE PARENTS, I believe she would make an excellent Aunt May.
DOUGRAY SCOTT AS NORMAN OSBORN: I mainly choose Dougray Scott because he fits the criteria of Norman Osborn from the Ultimate Universe and because I wanted to be more original. For those of you who don't know Dougray Scott was originally selected to play Wolverine in Bryan Singer's XMEN but due to scheduling conflicts he left the project and later he was cast as the main villain in John Woo's Mission Impossible 2. Other films which convinced me that Dougray Scott would own as Osborn are DR JEKYLL AND MR HYDE[A TV movie] and FATHER AND SON.
DYLAN O BRIEN AS HARRY OSBORN: I choose O'Brien for Harry Osborn due to his work in Teen Wolf and I beleive that he would make the character more interesting since in the comics Harry and his father are in distance with Harry trying to claim his father's approval
LAMBERT WILSON AS ADRIAN TOOMES: I choose Lambert Wilson for Toomes because the guy deserves a second after the catastropher which was Catwoman. Lambert Wilson would defitenely own the part of a future Vulture.
SHARLTO COPLEY AS MAC GRAGAN/SCORPION: As you have seen from my story I altered the origins of Scorpion and made him a scientist who works for Oscorp and is driven mad after he claims the persona of Scorpion. I choose Copley from his work from the classic DISTRICT 9 and due to his upcoming film OLDBOY , MALEFICENT and ELYSIUM
SAOIRSE RONAN AS MARY JANE WATSON: I am proud of this choice here since Saoirse even though at the age of 18 she certainly has gained attention on Hollywood. Saoirse has starred in films like THE LOVELY BONES, CITY OF EMBER , HANNA and the upcoming vampire film starring along with Gemma Artenton BYZANTIUM. Ronan would make a pretty much interesting MJ
SAMUEL L JACKSON AS NICK FURY CLARK GREGG AS AGENT PHIL COUSLON: LIKE I NEED TO EXPLAIN WHY THEY SHOULD BE CASTED!!!
