Due to the ending of X-MEN Days of Future Past, Professor X (Patrick Stewart) was explaining to Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) what had happened in between the 70s to 2025. This scene could be worked into X-MEN Apocalypse.

It could be worked into it that the movie is an explaination to Wolverine what had happened when Apocalypse showed up. It could work but, they would have to take a break every half and hour though so Wolverine could ask questions about why something has happened and Professor X would have to explain the obvious answers.

How ever, this would involve a lot of set design, make-up and money by hiring Patrick Stewart. It would be pretty cool but would involve more screen time Wolverine but quite frankly i don't see so much of Wolverine. I think we have seen enough of him and we need to focus on the younger characters other than Wolverine. I have nothing against the character Wolverine in the movies but i think we need to see a non Wolverine centric movie.

Over all, I think that Patrick Stewart should appear in X-MEN Apocalypse so we could explore  the new timeline by seeing the future more often and explaining which characters are there and which ones aren't in
the new timeline.
