Powers and Abilities

He-Man being able to blow, using the full-capacity of his lungs, a gust of wind powerful enough to knock over most opponents (similar to Superman's "super-breath").
Able to transform himself into a human tornado (sometimes with the aid of spinning his sword) to divert objects, or even fly short distances on rare occasions ("Evilseed" and "The Shadow of Skeletor" being two such examples).
Able to run at high speed, creating a vacuum ("The Once and Future Duke")
Able to rub his hands together fast enough to turn sand into glass (as seen in "Temple of the Sun").

Powers and Abilities

On Third Earth, much like his big-cat namesake, Lion-O had superb strength, endurance and agility. Very handsome, as described by Cheetara. He also had the cunning and skills of a fighter, but, because of the time spent in his capsule, he missed the experiences needed in growing up. Now, acknowledged as the heir to the throne of the ThunderCats, he wields Jaga's legendary Sword of Omens - which carries the Eye of Thundera within it -, able to fire bolts of energy (even hot and cold blasts sometimes), and allow Lion-O to see across great distances with its power of "Sight Beyond Sight," and the Claw Shield, a gauntlet that launches grappling lines from its claws and serves as a shield to reflect rays or even show the "true self" of his enemies. This happened for instance when he first met his main foe, the evil mummy wizard known as Mumm-Ra. Lion-O also has the ability as Lord of the ThunderCats to command all cats, as he demonstrated in his battle with the Snowman of Hook Mountain when he commanded Snowmeow to halt.

Just as all the nobles established in Third Earth, they will need many sorts of help but, due to their courage, good principles, and friendship, they managed to have new friends such as the Berbils and the Bulkens. They will help in building the Cat's Lair, the headquarters where they will live, having all the technology their flagship use to have, and the assistance of the Thundertank, the proud machine build by Panthro Even so, Panthro and Tygra will serve as role models to Lion-O, especially in the first half of the First Season.

As far as I recall, He-Man's strength is on par with Superman and his speed isn't far off. I may not be as knowladgeable of Lion-o as I was as a kid but I don't think he's in that league of strenght (if i'm wrong someone please show me some feats). So i'm going with He-man!

Lion-o may very well be a better fighter than He-Man, but the strenght is just too much IMO. Good job btw, I have thought about this match before! Glad to see it posted!

give me a break. He-Man would rip Lion-O's head off and then shove it up Snarf's ass.
