Batman is one of the toughest non-powered heroes within the DC Universe as well as one of the smartest. There is no debate he is the greatest detective but there is some debate as to whether or not he has the ability to defeat the likes of Superman and other high powered heroes. Batman may not be able to defeat them, but he does have a contingency plan in case any heroes decide to go rogue. A prime example of this is within the pages of JLA: Tower of Babel. Within this story arc, we find Batman's has been keeping records concerning the strengths and weaknesses of his allies in the JLA, including plans to neutralise his allies in a fight. Another case of Batman's intelligence is he keeps a kryptonite ring in his utility belt in case he has to face Kryptonians or even the man of steel himself.
But can he defeat them with these contingencies in place? And what if Batman somehow makes it into the Marvel Universe? More than likely, Batman would get a feel for his surroundings and learn to adapt as he always does. The following fights will be left to the fans as to who is the better fighter. Assume Batman has been in the Marvel Universe for a month and has been in hiding, while gathering data on his coming opponents. If he were to face some of these characters, would he actually win, or would he fall? It's time for you to decide...is Batman tough enough?

"Sometimes, I admit, I think of Bruce as a man in a costume. Then, with some gadget from his utility belt, he reminds me that he has an extraordinarily inventive mind. And how lucky I am to be able to call on him." --Superman

He may be the master of kung-fu and chi manipulation but the dark knight endures pain at an almost superhuman level himself. Both men begin the battle but because Bruce has been striking fear into the heart of men and the master of kung-fu is more into peace rather than conflict, Batman takes his opponent down with ease but with the utmost respect for a fellow fighter.

Shatterstar attempts to learn his opponents fighting style and tries to adapt but Batman uses his keen intellect to keep him guessing. Shatterstar then attempts to use his teleportation tactics to gain the edge, but the dark knight bides his time, learns Gaveedra's pattern and strikes at a crucial moment, taking down the mojoworld mutant.

Having actually met each other before, each hero has some knowledge. But there have been some changes since their last meeting and its towards Spidey's advantage. Even after studying Pete, and his loss of spidey sense, Parker has been honing his fighting skills with Shang-Chi, which makes him an even better fighter than before. The fight is almost over as soon as it begins. Batman constantly tries to land a punch, and gets a few in, but Spidey is just too quick and agile. On top of that, Pete uses his wisecracks to irritate the dark knight. It doesn't work as well as it usually does but Spidey gains the upper hand and takes Bruce down. No one messes with Spidey on his home turf...

Not much to say here. Batman tries to take Taskmaster down, but it only takes a few seconds for Taskmaster to learn the dark knights moves and add them to his photographic memory. After a couple minutes, Batman falls and Taskmaster is now even more skilled a fighter.

He may be a war vet and has gone into battle a few times with Captain America himself, but that means nothing when going against the dark knight. Batman immediately goes on the offensive and takes Union Jack down within 10 minutes.

Even though Flash isn't as experienced in the super hero business, he has the greatest respect for Spider-Man and now that he is semi-bonded with the symbiote, along with his combat experience in Iraq and Afgahnastan, he has the talent to take on the dark knight. Both heroes go toe-to-toe for about 30 minutes, but thanks to the spider powers and super stamina, Venom takes the advantage and takes Batman out.

Batman throws everything he can at Logan but its almost useless. the dark knight keeps Wolverine at bay for a bit, but eventually he exhausts everything in his utility belt and it comes down to hand-to-hand. Batman may be trained but Logan has around 100 years experience and takes Bruce down. Afterwards, Wolverine lights up a cigar (because he's smoking again), pops the top off a beer and heads towards the closest neighborhood bar.
Batman didn't really stand much of a chance here. The dark knight is a superb fighter but there were better fighters this round than him and he didn't really stand much of a chance.
