Composer: A film score (also sometimes called background music or incidental music) is original music written specifically to accompany a film.
Jerry Goldsmith [Notable Works: Chinatown, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn, First Blood]: In between his work on Chinatown and it's character nior themes, the pure iconography of Star Trek, and the deep soul searching action behind the music in First Blood Jerry is a wonderful choice to Compose the score for an 80's adaptation of the Wolverine.
Director: A film director is a person who directs the making of a film.
Ted Kotcheff [Notable Works: Wake In Fright, Split Image, First Blood] and John G. Avildsen [Notable Works: Rocky, The Karate Kid, Lean on Me]: John Avildsen was a masterful director taking good care of the sensibility of asian agriculture and took to heart a character's motivation and heart in Rocky, while Ted Kotcheff's work in First Blood showing the mental distress and effects of a truly miserable life were wonderfully put to screen in the adaptation. I think it would really take the work of Both men to perfectly capture the spirit of the original graphic novel.
Screenwriter: A screenplay or script is a written work by screenwriters for a film or television program. These screenplays can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. In them, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated. A play for television is also known as a teleplay.
Michael Kozoll [Notable Works: Vampire {T.V. Movie}, First Blood, Hill Street Blues {T.V. Series Developer}] and Paul Schrader [Notable Works: The Yakuza, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull]: These two writers are partially behind some of the most memorable and dramatically dark films of the 1970's and 1980's Kozoll, who has been chosen for his work in First Blood and Paul Schrader from his work in Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. I think it would take these two wonderful writers to adapt the Claremont/Miller masterpiece to heart and soul onscreen.

Logan/Wolverine [Height: 5' 3", Age: Unknown {Subject looks to be in his mid-30's to early 40's]:commonly known as Logan, Wolverine is a mutant who possesses animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities and a healing factor that allows him to recover from virtually any wound, disease, or toxin at an accelerated rate. The healing factor also slows down his aging process, enabling him to live beyond a normal human lifespan. His powerful healing factor enabled the supersoldier program Weapon X to bond the near-indestructible metal alloy adamantium to his skeleton without killing him
Michael Rooker [Height: 5' 10", Age: 34 {As of 1989}, Notable Works: Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer, Light of Day, L.A. Takedown]: After looking At his older works, his work in Henry really feels like 'Wolverine after becoming Sabretooth.' and Honestly he's a great actor who's got the perfect voice for Wolverine and the backwoods look and attitude that makes for a perfect Logan. All Rooker needed back then was a pair of adamantium claws. For this story i think it would really have stretched Rooker's range into a hero instead of a psychopath, but while allowing him to walk the fine line with Wolverine's character.
Mariko Yashida [Height: 5', Age: 30's]: Mariko was the daughter of Shingen Yashida, the half-sister of the Kenuichio Harada/Silver Samurai, and cousin of Sunfire and Sunpyre and the aunt of Shingen "Shin" Harada. Upon her father's death, she became head (Oyabun) of his Yakuza crime family, Clan Yashida.
Pei-Pei Cheng [Height: 5' 7", Age: 43 {As of 1989} Notable Works: Come Drink With Me, Golden Swallow, Qi Xiao Fu]: She's a lovely actress who is, in all honesty, I was looking for in Mariko Yashida. She truly is a wonderful actress and I am very happy to have had her included in this cast.
Yukio [Height: 5' 9", Age: 20's-30's]: Yukio is an occasional thief by profession, as well as a rōnin, a masterless samurai. Yukio has been portrayed as a free spirit with an almost careless disregard for personal danger. While she is highly skilled in the martial arts, Yukio is not a mutant and possesses no super powers. Her specialty weapons are scalpel-like shuriken, of which she can hurl several at a time with deadly accuracy.
Michelle Yeoh [Height: 5' 4", Age: 27 {As of 1989} Notable Works: In the Line of Duty, Dynamite Fighters, Tong Tian Da Dao]: I love her as an actress. She's done some amazing work in her career by the late 1980's. Playing a role like Yukio is wonderful break-out role for her in American audiences.
Asano Kimura [Height: 6' {Estimated}, Age: 30's-40's]: One of the oldest Logan's friends, Asano Kimura was the contact in Japan with Wolverine, while he did some mission as a spy, before he enters the X-Men. Asano works for Japan's government. In Wolverine first saga, Asano warns him about the dangers of being in Japan with so many enemies and that mariko had been married because the traditions. He was killed by Yukio in her apartment.
Chow Yun-Fat [Height: 6', Age: 34 {As of 1989} Notable Works: A Better Tomorrow, Tiger on Beat, The Killer]: Who doesn't love Chow Yun-Fat? He's an amazing actor who could really add some authenticity to the role. He's a perfect match for the character in terms of person and perception.
Noburu Hideki [Height: 5' 9" {Estimate}, Age: 40's {Estimate}]: A Japanese crime lord, attempting to marry Mariko in order to fuse his criminal empire with Shingen's massive criminal control over the yakuza. Noburu used to beat up his wife Mariko Yashida. He worked with Lord Shingen, Mariko's father. He was killed by Yukiowhile pointing a gun to Wolverine.
Chia Hui Liu [Height: 5' 9 {Estimated}, Age: 34 {As of 1989} Notable Works: The 36th Chamber of the Shaolin, Lu Ding Ji, A Bloody Fight]: He's an actor who works well for this kind of part. Possibly could do even better and make the role a bit more physical version of Noburu.
Katsuyori [Height: 5' 8", Age: 30's]: Lord Shingen ordered Yukio to kill Katsuyori, and Wolverinehelps her in this task protecting Marikoand her husband. At the end Yukio kill him exploding his car.
Yuen Biao [Height: 5' 9" {Estimated} Age: 32 {As of 1989} Notable Works: The Prodigal, Project A, Wheels on Meals]: He's a wonderful actor who could really bring this rolse to light. He's done some amazing work in the past and in this time he would have really given this role a true sense of memorability.
Lord Shingen [Height: 5' 10", Age: 50's]: Shingen was a Japanese Yakuza crime boss who disgraced his family name by turning his clan into a criminal empire. He was the father of Wolverine's fiancee, Mariko Yashida. He had an illegitimate son named Keniuchio Harada who was a mutant and came to be known as the Silver Samurai.
Sonny Chiba [Height: 6' {Estimated} Age: 50 {As of 1989} Notabel Works: Legend of 8 Samurai, Tomorrow's Snow, Tian Xia]: Sonny Chiba is a living legend of asian film. He's a wonderful actor who would dominate and own the role. Without a shadow of a doubt he could nail this role and redefine the look, actions, and name of Shingen.
