"Summer's Family Reunion"

The cast for my "Summer's Family Reunion" story. If you think you've seen this cast on here. Like a year ago. Trust me, you haven't. It's almost completely different.

AS all, or atleast most of you know. I'm currently posting my version of the Summers family. Now, I cast this almost a year ago. But, with recent changes and much consideration. I felt that a few of the characters and their actor/actress counterparts. Just didn't mesh as well as I would like them to. So I'm re-doing it. For the third time actually.

Brendan Frazer is still Christopher Summers. I feel he is at the right age to play their father as children(possibly with some make up) and as adults(possibly with some make up.)

I also kept Kate Hudson as as the role of Katherine-Anne Summers. Where its a very small role. Its a very important one. She has a key role in a lot of things. You should know.

I had originally chosen Natalie Portman for this role. But, after a lot of staring..I mean, research. I decided that Kiera Knightley was better suited for the part. She has a much better "action" movie history, she's in much better shape, and seems to me that her attitude would fit the part much better.

Moving on..
to the Summers brothers.(not all of which actually have the last name.)

For the role of Scott Summers. I decided to change James Marsden to Eric Stoltz and am now changing it to Jensen Ackles. Basically, he didn't become Captain America. He has amazing leadership skills, as shown in "Supernatural", as well as "Smallville" and the epically terrible "My Bloody Valentine." Being the oldest brother of four, leadership is, well, just kinda expected and I think he's got that sternness about him that is necessary to play this role. I thought about changing back to Marsden, but him being almost Forty, put me off. Considering this is an origins re-telling...none of the characters will ever actually be that old.

For the role of Alex Summers. I had originally chosen Jason Lewis. I've never had an actor stand out so much for a part than with him. But he is actually older than Marsden. So, in this case it really wouldn't worked. So, I went with Chris Pine instead, he has almost the exact same attributes about him that attracted me to Jason Lewis. Plus, I think him and Jensen Ackles would compliment each other quite well. Now, as many of you know he is my first pick for Hawkeye as well. I wouldn't complain if he got either of these roles. Or both, with the way Marvel goes.

Now, I had originally cast Norman Reedus as Gabriel Summers. Turns out, he's older than all of them. Lol. I need to do better research. Anyways, I chose an actor, with a very long line of credits. Most, I'm sure have never heard of him. But, I do believe he could do the part much justice.

As for Adam Xtreme. I had originally chosen Karl Urban, but with Adam here being the youngest, well you know where I'm going with this. So, and hear me out before you judge, I chose Kellan Lutz. In my opinion, aside from Jackson Rathbone, he was the most stand out quality actor in Twilight, now I've seen him in a few other things since than, and he's a pretty good actor. He has the proper build, hell he has the proper hair for this part. Plus, I think he would make a really convincing "little-big" brother to Jensen and Chris above.

Moving on...
to the "Xtra" characters.

Okay, so I originally had Ralph Fieness for the role of Charles Xavier. I'm changing this. Jason Isaacs, is my new pick for Charles Xavier. Mainly, because he is alongside Ralph, and Patrick Stewart, a world renowned Shakespearean actor. But, in this case. I think he looks closer to the part.

Ironically enough, my original pick for Erik Magnus was Jason Isaacs, I've decided that Ralph Fieness is better for the role. I really truly think, that with Ian Mckellan previously being Magneto, that Ralph is closer to the age appropriate for my story.

As Forge I'm sticking with Lou Diamond Phillips. I think he fits the role extremely well, and would do an amazing job.

Moving on...
to the siblings.
I tried really hard to find actors close to the same age range as Jensen and Chris above. Some of these actors are close to that age, and some not at all. But, I chose actors that I felt could look the age necessary. Hell Jensen will be playing a much younger character than he is, and a few of these below will be playing much older characters.

The first set of siblings is that of the Magnus Family.

First, Pietro Maximoff. I had originally chosen James Marsters. But, after quite a few arguments, and well, dragon ball Z. I've decided that he's not as great for the role as I thought he would be. I'm choosing an unknown for this part. He doesn't honestly have a major role in my story. So I don't need anyone to popular. I'm choosing Johnathon Trent. He played Fassbinder in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Now, I didn't think too much of the movie. But his small role, wasn't bad at all, he did quite good, and I think he could nail Quicksilver.

...and of course his twin sister Wanda. T'was originally Gina Gershon, but, well ya know. I've chosen Ashley Greene, yeah i know, another Twilight star. But, she's really taking off as an actress. Already has like four solo movies coming out, and she was a quite convincing Alice, yes I've read the books. So, I know.

Then there's Lorna Dane. I previously cast Michelle Rodgriquez, than I switched to Diane Kruger, now, I'm changing it to Nina Dobrev. She is one of the main stars of The Vampire Diaries on the CW. Mind you, I'm not a huge fan of the show, but, this is another of them small roles, so I didn't want to pick a huge, popular actress.

Now. With that over with. On to the next set of siblings. The Sh'iar empire family.

I had originally cast Chris Noth for this role. But, seeing as he's kinda old now, and the characters need to line up age wise. I've switched to Billy Zane, I do believe he plays a very good evil character, as well as good for that matter. I feel, he could do this role properly, without taking it over the top.

...and of course the beautiful Cal'syee. I recently cast Angelina Jolie in this part. Yeah, no. I'm switching to Kirsten Bell. I can't see, for the life of me, Ethan Peck, falling in love with Angelina Jolie, and vice versa. This doesn't actually happen in my version. But in the original it does, and that is enough to bother me into changing this part. Kirsten Bell, seems to have the semi-crazy, semi-sweet role down. Which, I think is very necessary for this character.

Then there's the lovely Lilandra, youngest of the threesome. I cast this person because I feel she has the same amount of strong attributes as Chris and Angelina, even though their no longer in it, lol. I think she fills in this family space tree....perfectly. Of course I kept the drop dead gorgeous Mila Kunis. But this time I threw in an extra awesome picture for ya. Your welcome guys.

(p.s. these two girls could both play the part, in exactly what they are wearing right here, and I would have no problems at all.)

Moving on...
to the love interests. (aside from Lorna Dane, she fit in the above category better.)

As Jean Grey I chose Elizabeth Hurley, I'm still choosing Elizabeth Hurley, I will always choose Elizabeth Hurley, just not for this role. Instead I have chosen Katheryn Winnick. Now, her resume is short. But, most of the shows she's been on. Are shows that I watch. I remember her from some, and that really says it all. That I remember her from a show she was on once. Ya know?

...and of course Miss Crystal for Pietro. I previously chose Alice Taglioni. I still love this pick. It's one of my favorites. But, regrettably I have to change it. Thank goodness it's too Isabel Lucas. Ya know, the creepy tail girl from TROF. Yeah her, she's good, and I aint saying nothing else.

Moving on...
to the kids.
If he wasn't from an alternate timeline, this wouldn't work at all. But, since he is. This works, for me at least. So, I'm sticking with Hayden Christensen as Nate Grey Summers.

Same goes for this one as the above.
