For those of you who are into to crappy teen dramas, you might remember Matt from The N's "South Of Nowhere" and like me others will know him as young John Winchester from "Supernatural". It took me a long as time to find the guy to play Supes. I wanted someone who could act for one and had the right all-American look, plus I wanted to be original, not easy. So like I do every time i'm blocked, I put on my "supernatural" DVD and veged for a couple of days, Then I saw Matt and was like "duh". He's the right age, an appropriate height and the more I looked at him, the more I saw Clark Kent.

Who better to raise Superman than Bobby Ewing? I like Duffy, he's a great veteran actor who just looks the part and has experience playing the nice guy rancher type.

Macdowell's a great older actress who I can see as a loving mother trying to protect her son from the outside world, so there you go.

A lot people wanted Hamm to play Superman, but in my opinion he is too old, but I do think he would make a great Jor-EL. He has a very experience look to him and he looks like he could be Cohen's dad.

I think Rossum is a fantastic actress who is incredibly under used in film. She's a great actress who I think can portray both a spunky take no bull lois and a vulnerable lois.

I know what you all must be thinking " What the What?" but listen it's jimmy, not exactly a role for an Oscar winner. You cant deny Cress' role on a "iCarly" wasn't Jimmy-esc, plus he has the right look.

This one was quite easy. I love Daniels in nearly everything he does an I especially enjoy him on HBO's "The Newsroom". He's at a good age, has the perfect look and would do this role justice.

I stand behind this choice 100% and I don't give a crap what anybody says. This casting I've had in my back pocket for five years and I truly believe Neal would make the best Lex Luthor Ever, second to Rosenbaum of course, he will always own the role. Neal is an incredible actor who is great at playing bad guys. It also doesn't hurt that if you were to cover his hair with your hand he would look exactly like Lex.

Lindo is a cool actor who I think would make a good Edge, plus he looks the part.

I always liked Penn for this role, great actor, can come off intimidating and his part in "Gangster Squad" solidified my choice.

I personally believe Ribisi would own this role. He plays a very good quiet creepy who could snap at any moment. While I understand that Toyman is often portrayed as a hefty guy, I think a guy like Schott would just be obsessively building in his basement and food would be the last thing on his mind

Alex is very good actor who I think would own as Savage. I could believe him as an immortal warrior who been everything from a knight to a civil war vet, it just works.

I've had this choice for a long time. I'm a huge fan of roth and I think he would make a kick ass Zod.

A real great English actor who would bring so much to the role. I don't know if anyone else sees it, but when Lewis looks at someone it's as if he scanning someone's face and body movements always trying to size them up. I think this attribute would work really well for brainiac.
