When there’s trouble you know who to call…..Teen Titans. The teen titans are one of my favorite teams in comics. Over the years people have been talking about the idea of a Justice League movie, and people have left the idea of Teen Titans movie on the back burner. Now I understand why DC haven’t jumped at the idea, because really where do you start. While the Teen titans could be seen as a poor man’s Justice League, there’s a rich universe of young characters and unlimited possibilities. So I’m going to take a crack at making a successful teen titan’s franchise.

TONE: Now I wanted to address the tone of the movie because these days in CBM the tone is such a controversial part of the movie. If it’s to dark and brooding then you’ll be a dark night rises rip off. But if the movie is to light-hearted and campy then you’ll be like Raimi spider-man or the superman movies. The tone that I think is perfect for a movie of this magnitude is similar to the tone in x-men first class. X-men first class had a good balance of comedy with huge dramatic moments to suck you in.

MAIN THEME song:
Hollywood Undead-We Are

I feel like this song captures the feeling I want in this movie. Just like in the songs the Titans are living in a world that needs them and they aren’t ready yet. They’re outcast until they figure out how to save the day.

Setting: I decided to try and put this movie in the already set universe of Man of Steel and the Dark Knight series (Don’t worry hear me out. It should take place two years after Man of Steel 2, in which serious events happen that cause the banishment of Super-man from Earth and the government all distrusting foreign organisms. Also around this time other aliens from space can communicate with and travel to Earth.

Story: The story takes place in the near future in San Francisco. The US has changed its reaction to aliens and foreign organisms. Now treated as illegal immigrant’s tensions between foreigners and Earth are rising and the US are trying to enforce their foreign policies onto other countries. Slade Wilson, a former mercenary, is the head of the military that combats the bad aliens. Slade also is married to Adeline Kane the head scientist at the HIVE who makes young soldiers to combat these aliens. They also have holding cells where they study and mistreat aliens, like a concentration camp. Meanwhile, John Blake has been traveling the world following batman’s footsteps and honing the craft of fighting. He finally decides to settle down in San Francisco where he trains a young troubled teen named Tim Drake. Eventually they meet a green alien boy named Garfield Logan, who escaped from the HIVE and is hiding out and performing in a circus. Garfield convinces the two to break into the HIVE and investigate them. During the investigation the three get caught and have to escape. During the escape they manage to get prisoner raven, test subjects; Karen Beecher and Wally West, and soldier cyborg. At first against the idea of being a team they decide they are the only ones that can keep Slade from killing living things and influencing the world with his sadistic ideology.

Now as we all know you can’t have a good movie without a great cast to back it up

CAST
Robin John Blake/Nightwing-Joseph Gordon Levitt:In this movie Nightwing is the parallel to Batman, where he has to inspire these young troubled teens to forget their troubled past and fight for the greater good.

I decided to keep JGL as an older version of Nightwing because he did a great and believable job as the next in line in the Dark Knight rises. Also, I wouldn't want them to waste time on making a new back story and restarting the character when he was so perfectly set up.

Tim Drake/Robin-Tyler Posey:Robin a former orphan in the orphanage at Gotham traveled the world with the man who adopted him John Blake. He is has a good heart but often brazen and has conflicts with his mentor on what's right.

Now I'm a little late on my Teen Wolf episodes but I know from what I've seen that this kid is a pretty good actor. He should be able to play the likeable and the not so great aspects of Robin.

Garfield Logan/Beast Boy-Ezra Miller: I wanted Beast Boy to be the positive guy through all the trouble and always see the silver lining in life. He is the glue that holds the team together and has the best relationships between each of the titans. Whether it's his friendship with Cyborg or his love-hate relationship with Raven.

After a while searching for an original pick I remembered this gem from Perk of being a wallflower. After watching more videos and interviews with him I realized this guy is perfect. He act eccentric and always looks happy and can act serious in dark situations.

Karen Beecher/Bumblebee-Yaya Dacosta: Karen is a secret spy sent into the camp to investigate the horrible conditions in the HIVE. She has prior martial arts training,is really smart and outspoken, but has little to know experience in the outside world.

Yaya Dacosta is beautiful young women and won't be overshadowed by her more known costars. She may be a little older and have less acting credits but I believe she would bring life and make this character her own.

Wally West/Kid Flash-Michael Seater: Wally is the sarcastic and arrogant
talker of the group. He often questions Tim's leadership and is a realist with no filter. He joined the Hive program because he needs direction in life and hates to be in the same place for too long.

If you've ever seen the show life with Derek than you understand where I'm going with this character. His charm yet arrogant nature is exactly what I need for him.

Victor Stone/Cyborg-Tristan Wilds: Victor is a no nonsense and brave young man. He joined the army to support his family and became the a cyber soldier because they offer a mass amount of money to do so. He is a shy and soft spoken and usually follows rules. Until he become best friends with Beast Boy and act more outgoing and less systematic.

I feel really accomplished finding this guy. Most fan casts with Cyborg have Michael B Jordan, and while an excellent choice I like variety. Wilds is a great young star and he has the right build and personality for the reclusive Vic.

Raven-Juno Temple: The wild card of the group she often has trouble containing her temper and inner conflicts. She is the HIVE's first and most dangerous prisoner. At first during battles she holds back so she doesn't get out of control but eventually she finds a good balance and feel more comfortable with her powers. But she is not completely in control. When alone or around her only friends she is almost a normal girl.

Juno Temple is a brilliant young actress and she could defiantly pull off Raven's complex personality. She has a different kind of charm and would shine as a the deep and fan favorite Raven.

Adeline Wilson-Sigourney Weaver: The stern head scientist at the HIVE she is the strong woman that backs up her husband Slade. She is very good with politics and convinces the government that her camp is a proper way of dealing with foreigners.

This pick was a no-brainer, when you think of woman in charge you think Sigourney Weaver.

Slade Wilson/Deathstroke- Voiced and face of Kevin Conroy/stunts by Scott Adkins: A extreme nationalist Slade has hated anything foreign since his fights in many wars over the years. Fighting and killing for almost 45 years he is the master of his craft. Meeting his wife at a very young age she helps keep his body in great fighting shape and supports his ruthless plan. He feels so strong about his plan he is willing to kill the number one candidate in the presidential race.

Recasting Ron Pearlman was a really tough decision to make. But I feel like I made up with a great voice actor in Kevin Conroy. Already a DC veteran his voice is legendary as Batman and can creep out a whole new audience as the cunning Deathstroke. If your not convinced watch listen to the voice of hush in Arkham City and see if it's not creepy enough

Not a bad cast, I don't know all the actors, but the ones I do know are great! And good for you on photoshoping the actors on to the characters, very cool!

And seriously, Deathstroke's pick is brilliant 0__0

@RedHood13No problem, in the movie it would be explained that batman left a details on his training and instructions on how to follow in his footsteps. Also he learns to fight while he travels the world

This would look way better without the manips. Not too bad of a cast though! Raven would be a great role for Juno Temple. Posey isn't the best choice for Robin though, in fact I'd say his Teen Wolf co-star would probably be better but hey it would be cool to see him get some success too. Ezra could be a good Beast Boy too.
