Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Fan Cast

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Fan Cast

If this were the movie coming out in 2014, it'd be so much better.

Alright, I'm not going to get into too many details, I'm just going to list who should be who and what should be what.

The DIRECTOR - Matthew Vaughn

His name has gotten bigger these days, but he's always been a genius. He helped produce Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, and his directorial debut, Layer Cake, starring Daniel Craig was just as good. Years later, he directed Kick-Ass, and he quite possibly saved the X-men franchise with X-men: First Class. He also wrote the screenplays for those 2 films.

As LEONARDO - Ryan Reynolds

It'd be nice to see him in a GOOD superhero movie, for a change.
Blade: Trinity = Eh.
X-men Origins: Wolverine = Fail
Green Lantern = Epic Fail (I'm assuming. I haven't seen this one. I never gave it a chance, and I never will.)

As DONATELLO - Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Andrew Garfield, or even BJ Novak

A lot of people can see why J.G.L. or Mr. Garfield would be great. Joseph's a fine actor, which is why he's in everything.

Andrew proved himself "superhero-worthy" in The Amazing Spider-man. Plus, just look at his neck. He could easily pop his head out of a shell.

I'd actually like to see BJ as Donatello. He isn't everywhere like the other two. He would also take the role seriously. I can see him giving the franchise the respect it deserves.

As RAPHAEL - Aaron Paul or Ben Foster

After some heavy weight training for these guys, can you just imagine how perfect they could be? Aaron's got the voice, and he can act. When push comes to shove on Breaking Bad, his performance is spot-on.

Same goes for Ben. Have you seen any of his work? I've loved everything Ben has been a part of.

Check this highlight reel of Mr. Foster working as a hitman in The Mechanic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pOqsW1w3VI
WARNING: The song is the unedited version of Right Now by Korn. There are explicit lyrics in the video. Oh, and there's violence. :P

As MICHELANGELO - Jensen Ackles

Hear me out! Ok, orange has always been my favorite color. In turn, Michelangelo had to be my favorite character as a kid growing up. I'm not doing him wrong by casting Jensen. I've seen people list him to play Raph or Leo, but don't think about the "bad boy" or the "oldest brother" side of his character, Dean, from Supernatural. Think of the "prankster, food-loving" side of him.

That's truly Mikey, isn't it?

As CASEY JONES - Jared Padalecki

I have to follow Jensen with his Supernatural co-star Jared. He's got the hair and the build to play Casey. He could kick just as much @$$ as the Turtles, and he knows how to deliver a punchline. Not only all of that, but the connection between Jared and Jensen would be awesome to see on the big-screen.

Supernatural has a huge fan base, and I'm one of them. I know that if these two starred in a movie together, every single fan would go see it.

As APRIL - Cobie Smulders

She's perfect. She's gorgeous and she's funny. Can you honestly tell me you can't imagine her wanting to hang out with the Turtles? Her character on How I Met Your Mother is even a reporter! Check this image out:

She's wearing yellow. That's APRIL! Period, end of story.

As SHREDDER - Mark Dacascos

He's got the look, he's the right age (49), and he knows martial arts... what else could you want?

Oh, and he's shredded. Get it? I made a pun. ;P

As SPLINTER - Chow Yun-Fat

He's 57, he's starred in over-the-top, kung-fu, action movies throughout his career, he's always been a badass, and he was Confucius. If Splinter isn't the mutant rat version of Confucius, what is he? For those who think Jackie Chan would be better... open your freaking minds, people.

Seriously, has Jackie Chan ever looked like this? He's too much of a joke to be revered the way Splinter should be.

There you have it. The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot that should have been. The only good thing about the one being released in 2014 is that Will Arnett has a role. Other than that, I'll either be very surprised to see it do well or the more predictable thing will happen--it'll be repugnant.
