DISCLAMER: This is a preview on what to expect with my version of The Amazing Spider-Man 3 screenplay, I am writing to explain and I understand that I do not own the right to the Marvel character and this is only for use of fan-fiction and educational purposes only.

What to expect from my script:
 
  • The storyline will take place approximately two and a half years after the death of Gwen Stacy and will focus on Peter Parker/Spider-Man having lost his one true love and his superhero duties now go into obsessive territory.
  • One of the main themes will be 'moving on' and will focus on Peter at college with Mary Jane Watson  and will feature him at work at the Daily Bugle with Robbie Robertson filling in some work duties as editor for J.Jonah Jameson. 
  • Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino will appear and will be referenced within the film.
  • Adrian Toomes/The Vulture is the main antagonist and will follow the reoccuring theme of Oscorp creating the villains and this character will have ties with not only Oscorp, but Peter's father, Richard and two more important Oscorp employees. 
  • Felicia Hardy will take a more prominent role within the movie.
  • Herman Schultz/The Shocker will make an appearance.
  • Donald Menken and Harry Osborn will return.
Look out for another movie based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe I have written and is about to go through another draft. It is a sequel to the Hulk movie and will be posted soon.

I like it! However, rather than the Shocker, I'd rather see Black Cat (costumed and all). Meaning Peter would have to choose between love or lust, as well as trying to move on? Would be a good way to make the series darker, straying away from the Toy like Amazing Spiderman 2!

I think your adding in too many villains and character's and it's reminding me of TASM 2 with how many character's and event's happened with in that film. The best way i can think of for TASM 3 is too start off fresh and have maybe 1 villain, have the film be centered and focused on Peter trying to move on from Gwen Stacey and become friends with Mary Jane, have the film focus on one or two plots.

I like Shocker too but i don't actually see him as a main villain, he's more of a joke towards Spider-man in the Ultimate universe. I think a better villain would be Vulture or Dock Ock.

@MightyZeus Shocker will be more of a gunrunner/hired-gun type character and will not share too much screen-time.

"I have always wanted to see a more obsessive Peter with nothing but Spidey in his life. A darker take that doesn't require the symbiote. So, he's still saving the day but he just doesn't care that much and really starts to let loose on the thugs he encounters."

"Have the film focus on one or two plots."

"Let's show Peter's internal battles, not romance or romantic tension. Also, why does every villain need to come from Oscorp? I know that's what they've been doing, and that is a problem I have with the rebooted series; frankly, it's annoying, and should be done away with."

Don't worry too much about there being too many villains in this one. The reason TASM 2 didn't work was because even though this time the antagonists were integral to the story arc, its because Harry Osborn didn't get enough character development and the Rhino was merely just a display of everyday crime activity.

This is different because the villains fit in with 'obsession' and 'sacrifice' as part of the theme of this movie.
