Synopsis:
Batman has appeared a year ago, shortly before Superman’s victory over alien invaders General Zod and BrainI.A.C. Lt. Jim Gordon and his partner, Harvey Bullock, are suspicious of this caped crusader, but Lt. Renee Montoya, who has been transferred from Metropolis and is a newcomer to Gotham, and D.A. Harvey Dent convince them to give him a chance. In his everyday identity of Bruce Wayne, Batman witnesses the murder of circus acrobats the Flying Graysons, and seeing their orphaned son, Dick, is reminded of his own loss so many years ago. Bruce makes him his legal ward and, when Dick discovers his other life, is forced to take him on as a partner, Robin the Boy Wonder. And Batman does need all the help he can get against Gotham crime lord, the Penguin.
My choice for the director is Zack Snyder(Watchmen)
I know he’s directing Superman but I’ve always though he was perfect for Batman, especially after watching the Watchmen(no pun intended). He’s great at dark, realistic superhero movies.
Now for my cast:
Bruce Wayne/Batman-Sam Witwer(Star Wars: The Force Unleashed[vg])
In “The Force Unleashed” and “Smallville” his characters are really similar to Batman. Tormented characters with dark pasts.
Dick Grayson/Robin-Josh Hutcherson(Journey to the Center of the Earth)
He’s a great young actor that looks perfect and, in “Journey”, has played a similar character.
Alfred Pennyworth-Ed Brigadier(Big Time Concert)
An odd choice, but he was already great at playing a butler.
Lucius Fox-Billy Dee Williams(Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi)
He's already played a Batman character and looks the part. He's also a great actor.
Lt. Jim Gordon-Bruce Willis(Live Free or Die Hard)
Willis is one of the best action stars and a great actor. He’s already played a cop in the “Die Hard” series.
D.A. Harvey Dent-James Marsden(X-Men 3:X-Men United)
He’s a great actor that looks the part and has played a conflicted character as Cyclops in X3(which I hated) and I‘m pretty sure we have yet to see a Batman movie with a Dent who’s not yet Two-Face and have him be a major character. His role in B89 was pretty small.
Vicky Vale-Cobie Smulders(How I Met Your Mother)
She’s already played a reporter and looks the part.
Lt. Harvey Bullock-Michael Chiklis(The Shield)
He already plays a similar character on “The Shield”.
Lt. Renee Montoya-Michelle Rodriguez(Avatar)
She was great in “Avatar” and is the obvious fan-favorite.
Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin-David Ogden Stiers(Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman)
I admit, I haven’t seen him in live-action except for that piece-of-crap “Justice League of America”. But he does look the part and has already done a great job voicing the Penguin in “Mystery of the Batwoman”.
