Here Is My Take On The Dark Knight Rises Bases On The Graphic Novel "Prey".

The Dark Knight Rises:
"Prey" Synopsis:
Prey is set during the early days of Batman's career as he is struggling to earn the trust of the public and form a working relationship with James Gordon, who is still just a police captain.
The main nemesis of the story is Hugo Strange, a brilliant psychologist who holds a professional stake and a personal obsession in unraveling Batman's secrets, including his true identity. He foments a smear campaign to paint Batman as a dangerous madman, and in turn forces Batman to question his own sanity as well as the plausibility of his mission.

Prey is considered as a sequel to Frank Millar's "Year One" which Batman Begins was based on and "The Long Halloween" which The Dark Knight was based on.

Cast:
Bruce Wayne/Batman-Christian Bale

As much as I hate Bale's Batman voice, he does portray a good Bruce Wayne and Nolan is highly unlikely to change Bale as Batman.

Commissioner Gordon-Gary Oldman

Oldman is Gordon in my eyes.He portrays fantastically and is certainly no need for a change.

Alfred Pennyworth-Michael Caine

One of the finest actors ever, Michael Caine certainly was the perfect choice for Alfred.

Photobucket

Lucius Fox-Morgan Freeman

His role in the film would be much more minor than the previous two yet still helps Bruce in his fight against Gotham's villains.

Hugo Strange-Anthony Hopkins

Hugo will be hired by the police as part of the Batman Hit-Squad but loses control over his fascination with Batman. I thought about John Malkovich and Phillip Seymour Hoffman but Anthony Hopkins I believe would give a great performance. Imagine if Hopkins gave Hugo the performance like the one he gave as Hannibal Lecter. My only concern is that Hopkins would be too old to do the part justice.

Sergeant Max Court-Tom Hardy

Max Court is hired by Commissioner Gordon to head the Batman task force in belief that Court is unable to keep up with Batman. Gordon underestimates Court as he turns crazy over his hatred to vigilantes and he visits Hugo Strange to help him who hypnotises him and turns him into a vigilante. My take on Max Court is slightly different to "Prey". In "Prey", Courts vigilante is named Night Scourge. I believe this name is rather, well inappropriate. Instead why not make him... Deadshot! It makes sense as Deadshot originally was a crimefighter wanting to replace Batman and Hardy has been championed for Deadshot so why not?

Selina Kyle/Catwoman-Marion Cottilard

In "Prey" Selina Kyle has just started out as a burglar and the press dub her "Catwoman" and believe her to be an accomplice of Batman. She commits a series of robberies and will be Batman's love interest. Nolan frequently collaborates with the same actors and Cottilard recently starred in Inception. She looks like Selina and around the same age as Christian Bale so she is purrr-fect (Excuse the pun). I also considered Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway.

Black Mask-Leonardo Di Caprio

In "Prey" a gangster called "The Fish" is supplying a drug dealer. Batman tries to hunt down "The Fish" on numerous occasions and captures and hands him over to Max Court as a truce offering. My take on this character is too simply rename him "Black Mask" and introduce him as the new leader of Gotham's underworld. He would fit perfectly in this movie and would be the movies side villain.I'm undecided on this pick, I think Leonardo Di Caprio could play a more cold, calculating villain whereas Viggo just has that sinister look to him which would scare the life out of anybody. My concern about Mortensen is that he is too old as Black Mask is a childhood friend of Bruce's and therefore Di Caprio would be best to play him.

Mayor Kauss-Oliver Platt

Kauss would be the new mayor who tries to tackle the problem of The Batman. He orders a hit-squad, led by Commissioner Gordon, to take down Batman. Albeit a very small role, Platt will still play a very important role. He is the one who hires Dr. Strange and I expect this character to be very much under pressure and unable to make his mind up over Batman and feels forced to hunt him down under public pressure.

Catherine Kauss-Anne Hathaway

Catherine Kauss is the daughter of the mayor and is kidnapped later on in the film by the villains. I figured if she was being considered by Nolan as a love interest then she could could play Catherine Kauss. I would of cast Emily Blunt but seeming as her career is really taking off its unlikely she would take on a small role like this. Rachel McAdams was another I considered but she looks too alike Rachel Dawes.

Harvey Bullock-John Carroll Lynch

Part Of Mayor Kauss's new Batman task force but has links to Black Mask's mob. Lynch is literally perfect.

Photobucket

Sarah Essen-Charlize Theron

Another member of the task force and has a fling with Gordon. Linked for the role and hell she'd be perfect.

Photobucket

Renee Montanya-Michelle Rodriguez

Another member of the task force and close ally of Essen. Michelle Rodriguez is a fan favourite and she would be brilliant.

Crispus Allen-Romany Malco

Another member of the hit-squad and partner of Montanya. Malco looks exactly like Allen and has good acting chops.

I honestly hate the idea of turning Deadshot into Copshot... Still, TOM HARDY = DEADSHOT !!!
Brilliant Hugo choice, Imagine if Strange and Alfred get into a scuffle...
Your BM picks are solid...
I like the idea of either GUY PEARCE/JOAQUIN PHOENIX/JONATHAN RHYS MEYER as Black Mask...

Your sub-title makes this article sound like a fan fiction rather than a fan cast.

John Carroll Lynch is a good Bullock, and Sir Anthony Hopkins would be good as strange but Black Mask is Guy Pearce. His face is shaped the same way. Vigo Mortensen is not a bad choice either!

this is too much of an unrealistic cast reason is Nolan or the WB wouldnt have enough money to pay all those top notch actors such as Leonardo, Charlize, Anne, Hopskins
