I just finished reading the 7th volume of The Dark Tower Series on March 12th, and had a really hard time going to sleep that night. I loved the series, but I’m still not too sure how to feel about the ending. Oh well. In this fan-cast, I tried to be as original as possible. I haven’t really seen many Dark Tower Fan-casts, so I don’t really have anybody else’s ideas influencing my own. I hope you can see why I picked who I picked. Please take a few minutes to think about these actors in their respective roles, and maybe you can see them in these roles too. Enjoy. I have heard people say that Roland should be in his 30’s, but when I read the books, he always had this mature, fatherly way about him. To me, he’s not the typical cowboy gunslinger. He’s more of a knight with a gun instead of a sword. Plus, he IS from the royal bloodline of Eld. I always pictured Liam Neeson as Roland.
