this image THAT WAS IMPROVED BY DorkyFresh in superherohype forums, shows how the hair-style of cavill will appear in the movie BUt when he is not FIGHTING with ZOD or when he is not FLYING because its STUPID and ILLOGICAL than "SUPERMAN" that flies in a SUPERSONIC SPEED has the SAME HAIR that looks like "SALON MADE" we are in the 21st CENTURY i think superman will have this look in the movie (OR a DIFFERENT way) BUT when he speaks with lois or shows to the world. I think it´s enough....

i like it, but again i like the way it is now. either way, IF he does have an S curl it shouldn't be a "stuck" like Routh had in Returns it just looked stupid.Either way i like the hair he has now or if they do that manip i like also.

suit and hair looks better in this shot, but the cape is to long
Oxion
Oxion - 8/5/2011, 6:22 PM
wow, he doesn't look 50 y/o and I can see his eyebrows now. Great improve. The cape is perfect and not skeet n stiff. DC should have given a better pic cuz it does not convince me at all that Cavill will make a good Superman, just another guy in the suit. A suit that looks alot like the one in the new Spiderman movie.

The spit curl or "S curl" is still missing.

In the revised picture, he just has hair falling over his forehead, and it's greasy to boot.

The costume seems OK, but the boots appear to be maroon and the cape red. But it is closer to the original costume and the comics before the costume worn in "Superman Returns".

At least in the photo, Cavill's eye do not look like Superman's as much as Reeve's and Routh.

Really? Really?

How Superman's hair looks will have no effect on whether or not it will be a good movie.

Brandon Routh had the "S" curl and the movie wasn't that good

superman has to have his curl.....he would'nt look like superman .....by the way i hope his hair is jet balck blue...
TinyBirdcage

THE "S" CURL WAS THE DUMBEST IDEA EVER CARRIED ON BY THE MODERN SUPERMAN. Why would Superman put an "S" curl in his hair? Did Lois Lane give a damn about it? Did Superman want to look good for his rogue gallery of villains? Were Lex Luther and Superman having secret gay affairs, so Superman would try to impress him with his "S" curl so he could get Lex extra hungry? Because I know for a fact the wind does not do that. It NEVER did that for mine. THERE IS NO POINT FOR A MODERN SUPERMAN TO KEEP AN ILLOGICAL HAIRSTYLE. When he's Superman he's most likely to be in battle or flying. In order for Superman to keep the "S" curl he'd have to stop all that JUSTICE he was in the middle of doing, so he could look good in order to keep some stubborn fans satisfied. SO which do you want more, a male model or a HERO? Brandon Routh had the "S" curl, and compared to Henry's new photo, Routh looks like a child. I'd rather have a MAN saving the world than a child who constantly needs to keep checking his hair on the reflection of the phone booth glass window that he changes in so he could look nice for the Daily Planet newspaper.

I actually like the hair like that. At least it's better than the disco hair he has in the official teaser pic. Hopefully if he gets the S curl, they'll finally explain how he got the damn thing in the first place. Clark's Superman hair is needed for his duo identity because people not only focus on his face, but also his hair. He has to separate all things that make him Clark and Superman so that even his hair won't be compared.
