Synopsis
Waking up from a coma, police officer Rick Grimes finds himself thrown into a world where the living fight the dead and the dead kill the living. Convinced his family is alive, he sets out to find them and discovers the dead aren't the only thing to fear in a world gone mad.
Directed by Francis Lawrence
There are horror movies then there are awful horror movies and sometimes... just sometimes there are good horror films. Well, Walking Dead shouldn't be a horror film. Well, not entirely. I believe there should be a lot of character development and Francis Lawrence is the kind of director that does that well.
Produced by Michael Bay
Hate him all you want, this isn't Transformers and he isn't directing this film and I believe he would suit the producer chair quite nicely for a film like this.
Cast
Jake Gyllenhaal as Rick Grimes
Every lead character needs a leading actor to play him and throw it any way you want, Jake Gyllenhaal is a good if not decent actor and watching him in movies such as Prisoners and Brothers gives me belief he could take on the complex role of Rick Grimes.
CJ Adams as Carl Grimes
It's hard to cast young characters because child actors noteworthy are hard to come by however young CJ Adams career is just beginning landing a role in the upcoming film Godzilla
Amy Adams as Lori Grimes
When I first thought of Lori I thought of the increasingly popular Amy Adams for the role. She's beautiful, seductive and all around an incredible actress.
James Badge Dale as Shane Walsh
Barely known actor at the time which makes him perfect for a supporting role. He's a rough looking actor which is needed for a character like Shane. You may remember him from such films like Iron Man 3 or World War Z.
Harry Shum Jr. as Glenn
I'm not too familiar with young Korean or Costa Rican actors however I've heard good things about Harry so all I leave this at is... Well, why not?
Bryan Cranston as Dale
I'm going to be honest right now, I've seen one episode of Breaking Bad and not saying I didn't like it but with work the only shows I have time for are Walking Dead and Arrow but with both shows on their break.. Anyway, everyone loves Bryan and I know he would be a great fit in this film.
Amber Heard as Andrea
I enjoyed her in Rum Diaries and I also like she isn't a well known actors because unknown actors make a movie more watchable because if a film is loaded with A listers we're going to get sick of the same face in every movie. She's a decent actress who fits the role.
Mackenzie Foy as Sophia
You may remember her from Twilight but you should remember her from the Conjuring. Mark my words she's going to be forgotten then when she's 23 she'll be the biggest thing in Hollywood! ... And then will be forgotten again... SHOW BUSINESS!
