Okay people before I express my WTF, "whoa calm down" ideas on what major Marvel events can emerge after the Avengers(2012), especially since Disney proposed plans on expanding the Marvel universe by bringing the other unknown characters to the Hollywood screen or Warner Bros and DC bringing their big guns after Green Lantern(2011), I warn you that there are a lot of comic illustrations that i will provide you with specifically the events I may want to see on the big screen if they are possible, I mean if Avatar was possible I guess these are as well. So I apologize if there are too many pictures but please bare with me.
Now first let's navigate on the direction Marvel can go after the Avengers or (Civil War) among the superheroes. There is a current event known as "Siege" or "Siege of Asgard". I know I may be jumping the gun way to far ahead but I'm looking into an awesome future. Do you think it would be cool if the Asgardian Norse Gods were to go to war with modern superheroes?

How about Greek Olympian Gods such as Hercules aka Heracles aka Son of Zeus in "Assault on New Olympus" leading the New Avengers?
Maybe Ryan Reynolds can meet Hercules.
Possibly an Asgard and Olympus crossover.
Just imagine the epic radar exploding ten times more than the Transformers series did.
Now onto DC. DC's spectacular events have mostly revolved around Green Lantern lately so I have to say the "Sinestro Corps War" and "Blackest Night" can raise the epic bar just as high as what Marvel can deliver. The battle of the intergalactic light spectrum can look astonishing on the big screen ever since the years of Star Wars and Star Trek.
This next picture is a spoiler for those who are reading the Green Lantern Corps series who haven't seen this tragic scene yet.
Yup Kyle Rayner is dead. One of the great Green Lantern corps members.
Those are just a few events that could execute box office success and probably break the record of the film "Titanic" from James Cameron which still holds it's dominant 1st place spot with almost 2 billion ticket sales and to add with Jim's success, Avatar is now 4th place in highest grossing films.
What events in comic book history would you think that would light up the film industry?
Again this is Punish88r sharing with you all the comic book fan in me.
Until next time, live long and prosper.
