What If? - Miscasts

We're always saying 'this guy should have played him' and so on and being a big fan of comics and movies alike I've put together a little list...

There is always going to be people that aren't happy with a certain actor or actress cast in a certain role, And being a fan of the comics and movies (And having too much spare time right now) I've put together a list of actors I think would have suited comic book movie roles better.

Jeff Bridges - Victor Creed/Sabretooth

Okay first I know he already has had a role, He played 'Obadiah Stane' in Iron Man the movie that hit it all off for the Marvel cinematic universe but Bridges acting (Remeber how creepy he was in Iron Man) helet alone the evil facial expressions he can pull off make him my ideal Sabretooth. Just imagine this guy with long dirty golden blonde hair, huge claws and sharp teeth and of course one hell of a work out and he would have been fantastic, Obviously this would have had to have been years ago due to his age but at the same time Sabretooth is hardly a young man in the comics.

Adam Brody - Bobby Drake/Iceman

I know your all going to say "Are you drinking?" when you read this but in my defence would it have made X-Men any worse? and for the many fans out there again in my defence I wanted a X-Men movie that would have shown the original team not the team picked to pull in people that recognise certain characters..... Wearing kinky outfits (Hey this is no X-Men rant!). Anyway I can see a young Adam Brody playing Bobby D quite well, he has the jokey side that Shawn Ashmore was missing and he has the look of 'The young guy of the team'. Of course this again would have meant an entirely different movie but as I've said I wouldn't have been sad with that.

Billy Crudup - James 'Logan' Howlett/Wolverine

I'm a fan of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine but Crudup to me could be a better fit. He played Dr. Manhattan in the Watchmen but what made me think he could play a decent Wolverine surprisingly is his smallish role in 'The Watch' he showed that he can be slightly creepy which to most female characters Wolverine should be, But Crudup has facial features that would help him own the role as well as the fact hat he's not all that tall and with some good training he could bulk up to Wolverines size. I can see him as that guy that is 'The best there is at what he does' and after seeing the watchmen.... 'what he does isn't very nice' (I refer to the film).

Robert Sheehan - Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler

Most known in the UK for playing 'Nathan' in Misfits he and although most people wont see the match due to his cocky style in Misfits but there is a deeper side to his acting as seen in British thriller 'Demons Never Die' I always liked him in Misfits but in this film I saw he was actually a good actor and not just a one character kinda actor. Seeing as how Nicholas Hoult has been made to look amazing as beast I can see Sheehan could be just as easily made up to impress as Nightcrawler, he already has a good body physic to play Kurt but with some voice control and a good German assent he could be great.
