Well, is the 21th century and George Lucas has the idea of making an movie called Star Wars. This is what I imagined. George is making the film, but in a different time.
Director/Writer: George Lucas-(Notable Works: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Hook, Howard the Duck, Labyrinth): Well, George directed and written all of the episodes, and I can't imagine anyone else written and producing the movie than he. Also, George is an excellent screenwriter and producer.
Co-Writer: J. J. Abrams-(Notable Works: Cloverfield, Star Trek reboot, LOST)I already casted him in my Batman fan cast, and I will cast him again in Star Wars. He's going to make the sixth entry and makes great Sci-Fi movies.
Screenwriter(s): Quentin Tarantino and Steven Spielberg-(Notable Works(Quentin): Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill vols. 1 e 2, Django Unchained)-(Notable Works(Steven) Jurassic Park, E.T, Super 8, Indiana Jones and many others) Quentin is one of the best, he would provide amazing dialogues between characters. Just imagine Han Solo talking funny as he always do, with Chewbacca responding, but in Quentin's way, amazing! Spielberg are amazing, and know how to do real movies, also, he work along with George in some films).
Creature Design: Guillermo del Toro-(Notable Works: Hellboy 1 e 2, Pacific Rim, Pan's Labyrinth)
Guillermo is one of my favorite screenwriters and director, but what I really admire in him are his capacity of making beautiful-yet-horrible creatures, aliens and monsters. Also, I imagine him serving as casting director and creative consultant.
Composer: John Williams-(Notable Works: Star Wars IV: A New Hope, E.T) John composed the first installment and subsequently the sequels. I can see only him doing the job .
Cast
Thomas Sangster as Luke Skywalker
Primarily I choose Thomas because he is capable of pushing the 'orphan' role and second, the sentimental. For what I see him, he can portray it very well. The actor doesn't need to look like Luke, he need to act like the character. Also, I didn't see no one casting him as Luke before, he was the most original candidate on my head.
Emma Watson as Leia Organa
Like Thomas, Emma doesn't look like Leia, but she can put the emotional and can be the female dominant character. Also, a younger version of Princess Leia would be interesting.
Nathan Fillion as Han Solo
I know it's cliché, but Nathan IS the new Han Solo. He are sarcastic an the kind of guy who are an bounty hunter and charismatic mercenary.
Doug Jones as Chewbacca
Another very famous choice. Well, Doug, like Ron Pearlman, Andy Serkis, Ron Pearlman and Ray Park, played so much iconic characters, and in my opinion, Chewbacca is this kind of character. Although he would just do some roars (As others belong to bears), he would put his 'magic' on the character.
Richard Brooks as Darth Vader (Voice)
If you who Richard Brooks is, then you know why I choose him. The guy's voice is amazing and beautiful, but can be menacing at the same time. Exactly as Darth Vader voice is.
Richard Kiel as Darth Vader (Body)
This guy is giant. Although I just seen him in some of the James Bond movie, he looks menacing as Jaws there, and Vader is very menacing.
Brad Dourif as Darth Vader (Unmasked)
To tell the truth I've just seen Brad as Chucky in the last years, but he is still perfect for the job. Also I look for people who would be alike Dane DeHaan in the future, and I think he looks like him. Also, seeing him as Anakin in the ending would be epic.
Brad Everett Young as C3P0
I didn't know nothing about this actor, but i've recently been watching some films and i see this guy, he looks funny. but at the same time serious and bipolar.
Idris Elba as Lando Calrissian
Idris is an excellent actor. He has the 'good guy' face and I think he can make an traitor that becomes an ally. Also, Idris was very good in movies related to sci-fi and comic books.
Ian McKellen as Obi-Wan Kenobi
I don't know if this choice are odd or unoriginal, but I never see someone casting Ian as old Ben. He IS Ben, like he is Gandalf and Magneto. These characters represent well know mentors who are in the control of situation and are very wise at the same time. Exactly the character thet Ian portrays.
