In the world of Mortal Kombat Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang) is descended from a race of Outworld inhabitants known as Cryomancers. He has the basic skills of a ninja and then some, he can control ice in many forms and his ice abilities continue to improve throughout the Mortal Kombat game series. He's fast and has incredible endurance.
