X-Men: Apocalypse will mainly take place in 1983. There will be scenes some scenes in 2023. The movie will begin in 2023 with the older Professor X and Beast telling Wolverine about the events that happened in the new timeline. Wolverine will question what happened to Magneto and Mystique as he has not seen them. Then it will flashback to 1983 where the film will remain except for a few flashes back to 2023. This will be the first movie to feature the original X-Men and Brotherhood rosters.

I think we need to make a site rule. If you're using the studio picks for your fancast, don't bother mentioning them. It just wastes everyone's time, including the writer, saying that Patrick Stewart should be prof x and Henry cavill should be superman.

I've suggested Freddie highmore for summers in the past, so I like you're pick there. I like Anton for nightcrawler as well.

I've always pictured Djimon Hounsou for apocalypse. I think he would have an awesome voice for it. But now he's korath so that puts a nail in that. Someone else with a deep African accent would be great.

Since Quicksilver's name was Peter and not Pietro in movie-universe, I wonder if Scarlet Witch will be Wendy instead of Wanda.
BTW: Havok in Brotherhood?

@Odin I like to think that Peter is is a nickname and his real name is Pietro. Wanda is more common then Pietro.
Also Havok has actually lead the Brotherhood at one point in the comics. I don't think it's that's big a stretch that he could fall into some of Magneto's thinking.

Clancy could be good Cable i guess.

Britt Robertson hasn't really sold me but I'd be interested in seeing her as a young Jean. Jane Levy would be my pick though.

I could see good ol' Charlie Bucket as a younger Cyclops.

NO to Keke Palmer for Storm! She's a bad actress and every movie I've sen her in she's just so wooden. I know Halle's Storm was wooden but we're trying to improve the characters for the future.

Not feeling Yelchin for Nightcrawler.

Zylka is a decent choice to say the least but he's already with Sony and may or may not become Venom in the future ASM movies.

Saoirse isn't a bad choice I personally went with Lilly Collins.

Your choice for Mastermind is interesting

Edgarton isn't who comes to mind but I'd love to see his take on the character.

Apocalypse is set 10 years after DOFP.
So wouldn't Scarlet Witch be like, 27 or something ? At the very least?
If QS was about 17 in DOFP.
