Full disclosure: I voice several characters. They are, Trunks, Future Trunks, Gotenks, and one of the antagonists "Lieutentant Karifurawa."
Episode length is 14:28 which is nearly as long as a regular episode of DBZ. So I like that.
The animation is all done by one guy. His name on youtube is Mellivelli. I won't give out his real name. Anyway, I think his animations are awesome, sure some of the filler scenes aren't his best work, but they are good. His best work is saved for the fight scenes.
The first episode really does well to set up the story for the series. I will say that the only complaint I have and many youtube fans have is the Voice actors audio is not loud enough and that makes it difficult to hear at times. This problem is being addressed and will be fixed by episode 2.
