Online fan site IGN Filmforce recently received a tip that Canadian actor-model Bruce James (below) may be cast as the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer. Director Tim Story has recently said that Galactus' herald would be CGI but James might provide the movement and acting for the digital makeover (ala Andy Serkis/Gollum from Lord of the Rings).

James has been cast in a supporting role on the indy thriller Snakes on a Plane, starring Samuel L. Jackson. His resume includes The L Word, Tru Calling and Dead Like Me.
