Fantastic Four has gotten so much attention, could Fox actually benefit from releasing this movie to save some face?

What I guess you're asking is if I'd see the "fantastic" version Josh Trank said he had? My answer is yeah, I would.

Ha no.
There's already reports of Trank's fantastic version not being any good. And Fox doesn't have a record of [frick]ing with thier CBM directors so Trank probably did something wrong. Also he's a winny coward without any class.

He denied absolutly every bad rumor about him but the exact same day when critics say the movie is bad he decides to bash it in the lamest way possible, tweeting about it and then deleting the tweet. He had no valid reason to act like a child, get drunk and destroy private property.

Fox put the caboodle on Trank's F4 before production even began, so it's more or less nonexistent... But if it was somehow, magically out there? HELL YEAH!

"And Fox doesn't have a record of [frick]ing with thier CBM directors so Trank probably did something wrong."

Nope. They messed with X-Men's budget and put creative blocks on the film, there was the whole X3 fiasco, they messed with Origins in a similar fashion to Singer's first X-Men film, and then they obviously messed with this film as well. So... Quite the opposite of what you said.
