Warner Bros.' Arthur & Lancelot (an epic based on the King Arthur mythology) was originally set to begin filming two months ago, but the studio decided to postpone it after budgetary concerns. The film was originally set to have Kit Harington (Game Of Thrones) and Joel Kinnaman (the new Robocop) star as King Arthur and Lancelot, respectively, but both are said to be unable to make it due to scheduling conflicts. Now, Variety reports that Colin Farrell - who has previously been seen in Alexander and Daredevil - is in talks to star in the movie, though it currently isn't known if he's up for the role of Arthur or Lancelot. David Dobkin is writing and directing, while Charles Roven will produce.

Variety also notes that Farrell starring in the film would help it to be in motion, as which some sources say a lack of a bigger star was part of the reason that WB was uncertain about moving forward with the project in January. Plot details are currently vague, but it's described as a film "in the vein of Braveheart-style action". Colin Farrell can next be seen in Sony's Total Recall reboot.
