The young actor was said to be the front runner for the role and now Variety have confirmed that he is in final negotiations. He will star opposite Camilla Belle as Eve.

The major players are Bradley Cooper and Ben Walker as warring archangels Lucifer and Michael, with Casey Affleck, Djimon Hounsou, Callan McAuliffe and Dominic Purcell co-starring. The story deals with the war in heaven and the corruption of Adam and Eve. No word on whether Cooper will take snake form for that one yet.

Mexican singer/actor Boneta is probably best known here for his role in 90210 although has just finished shooting a big screen version of the Broadway musical Rock Of Ages with Tom Cruise.

I'm actually really looking forward to this...they're using the same technology they used in the Lord of the Rings and Avatar to do the aerial battles and 'Paradise Lost' is a classic in itself which hasn't been done before...And 'Dark City' was really well done. Can't wait...

Yes. There have been Bible stories done in comic form before.

There are Christian comic book companies out there. They count too...

For goodness sakes-with all the proven data, MUST the first humans appear to be white and without any true color?? Why make such a badass story with all the finest detail and then have Adam and eve right out of a Hollister ad. Im not white or from the east and im not a bible thumper but whats wrong with some quality control here? So [frick]ing asinine... Can these two clowns even deliver?

Biblically there is muchto be interpreted about angels so there's liberties there. Not with these two tho. Sickening. Looks over talent. The Hollywood way.

Wth! Everyone knows Adam and Eve were apes dammit! Or at least apes-like. Therefore, who more perfect to play the role of Eve than the human Chewbacca herself, Khloe Chewbacca Kardashian?

For Adam, that's easy. They should cast Carlito from the WWE. Why? Because he would eat that apple, and spit it in yo effin face! Free will biotches!

@EasterBunnyKiller: Yeah, you're totally right. He IS supposed to be black. But most people wouldn't understand this, even if you had a scientist explain it to them in simplified terms.

@Overfiend: Yes, that would make sense. But hollywood wouldn't EVER do that. It'd be exposing too much in contrast of their agenda. Glad you're aware, though.

I'm not sure Adam would be black. Theoretically, Adam and Eve were created to live in the perfect environment, neither too hot nor too cold, too sunny, or two dark. Darker skin comes from living in really sunny scorching places. Pale skin comes from living in really cold places with long, cloudy, dark winters. I'd think Adam a Eve would have a medium, Mediterranean kind of skin tone.
