FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM Sequel Adds ASSASSIN'S CREED Actor Callum Turner

With production expected to start this summer, WB has added a new piece to the cast of their Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel in Assassin's Creed actor Callum Turner!

Variety is reporting that British actor Callum Turner has joined the cast of Warner Bros.' Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel as Newt Scamander's brother. 

Turner joins a cast headlined by Academy Award-winner Eddie Redmayne, who will return as Scamander. 3x Academy Award-nominee Johnny Depp will return in a much larger role as the infamous Gellert Grindelwald while 2x Academy Award nominated actor Jude Law will join the franchise as his friend-turned-rival Albus Dumbledore. Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, and Zoë Kravitz are all also expected to reprise their roles from the first film.

David Yates is returning to direct with a script from Harry Potter mastermind J.K. Rowling
Plot details remain under lock-and-key, but we do know that the story will take place during the spring and summer of 1928 in Paris, France, and Great Britain.

Production is expected to begin this summer. 


Turner is best known to audiences for his film roles in Queen and Country, Green Room, Victor Frankenstein, Tramps, and Assassin's Creed.
