HBO Max has finally shared the first official photo from the eagerly-awaited Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special event, featuring our first look at the reunion of stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger).
This is the first time the three have been pictured together since the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two, which makes this photo instantly iconic and should only add to the hype as we count down the days to the special's January 1 premiere.
Along with the main trio, the special will also feature Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone director Chris Columbus and a wide variety of their legendary co-stars, including Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), James Phelps (Fred Weasley), Oliver Phelps (George Weasley), Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Ian Hart (Quirinus Quirrell), and more.
While an official length is still to-be-determined, the long-awaited reunion will also delve into the making of all eight films with new in-depth retrospective interviews and exclusive cast conversations, so it should be well worth the wait.
