HERCULES: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Delivers A Rousing Speech In This Deleted Scene

Brett Ratner's Hercules surprised everyone by actually being...not terrible. The movie will be released on Blu-ray/DVD in the UK this Monday, and in this latest deleted scene Hercules (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson") rallies his troops for combat with a very Braveheart-esque speech.

Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend. Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules’ help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.

So I watched The Legend of Hercules the other day... don't ask me why.

Possibly the worst movie I've seen in the past decade. Everything in that movie was so cheap and horrendous looking, the acting was so bad it was unfathomable. I've seen PORN actors with better range than half of those screaming idiots. Good GOD that movie sucked, how did it even get a theatrical release??!

HOW??!!

The movie was ok, but the dialogue/lines were bad. Too many modern mannerisms and words.

You know your movie is trash when Scott Adkins is the main villian.

Scott Adkins is the villain in the OTHER Hercules film. This one was actually pretty good.

Some movies just exist and aren't bad or good.

This is one of those movies.

It was a pretty solid movie. I liked how they played into the "He's the son of Zeus" and his 12 Labors. Like it was said before, was said before; not the greatest movie, but certainly not the worst.

@OdinSon2k14 "did you notice the cut-and-paste from the Thor movies? The dashing warrior brother, and his less courageous sibling :)? The king chooses one as his successor?"

Please tell me you do not honestly believe the Thor movies came up with brother rivalry theme?? I hope you're sitting down because Thor and Loki are cut-and-pasted, well stolen, from Norse mythology and aren't original to Marvel.

Not to mention, the story of Cain and Abel came long before Thor and Loki. haha

The Rock basically plays The Rock in all his movies.

Glad speech scene was cut..the rousing speech from a lone warrior to an army has to stop,it's a reoccurring theme in these type of films that is very annoying.

I thought this movie was okay.

It was not terrible or great, but it was okay.

Even though i'm still waiting for a movie studio to do an accurate depiction of Heracles and the Greek Gods. The only time Zeus was cool in a movie was when Zeus teamed up with Hades against Cronus in Clash of the Titans.
