The Dark Tower trailer leaked early last month but was quickly pulled down. Many expected an official version to be released by Sony fairly soon, but here we are a month later with no new trailer.

Today, we've learned the reason why.  Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the  Nikolaj Arcel-directed pic has been pushed from February 2017 to Summer 2017.  Is this move a sign that Sony believes they could have a hit on their hands?

Not necessarily, as EW says the reason behind the shift is because post-production work won't be completed in time to meet the original schedule.

There's no specific date for the new release but we'll keep you informed whenever Sony makes the move official.
