Who does not like The Lord of the Rings? Not many people can answer that question with a I don't. The Lord of the Rings trilogy is the best trilogy since the first Star Wars trilogy back in the late 70's early 80's. Which means us fans seem to be treated to an awesome trilogy of this epic scale once every generation. Hey Hollywood, keep em coming!

Many thanks goes to Warner Home Video for providing us with The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Blu-ray Release!

I'm holding out for the Extended Editions to be on Blu-Ray. No sense in me getting this and then getting rid of it in a year when the Extended cuts come out.

hhaha, jman, that is one sweet Smeagol impression! Goodo stuff boys, without a doubt the greatest trilogy in movie history. I love the original Star Wars, but like gtrman, Jedi lets it down for me.

lord of the rings looks amazing on blu-ray,but it should of had the extented editions on it as well.
what is this how they gonna release the rest of the films.
1st lord of the rings (2 disc editions)
2nd lord of the rings (4 disc editions)
3rd the hobbit part 1 (2 disc edition)
4th the hobbit part 1 (4 disc edition)
5th the hobbit part 2 (2 disc edition)
6th the hobbit part 2 (4 disc edition)
7th the hobbit 1&2 + the lord of the rings trilogy box set (20 disc edition)
at least they put out extra features on these disc not like that f***ing con avatar.

& the best trilogy ever is
1.lord of the rings
2.the original star wars trilogy
3.the godfather trilogy
4.the matrix trilogy
they may all be beaten when either toy story 3 or batman 3 come out.
