Below is a new behind-the-scenes featurette for CW’s Supergirl! This new video sees Melissa Benoist and the rest of the cast, as they explain Supergirl’s TV origin! For those interested, take a look at the video below!

As you saw in the video, Supergirl came from New Vulcan, and was sent to Earth by giant Pandas! Okay...I’m just kidding with you. If you watched the video, you’d know that Kara is NOT from New Vulcan, and did NOT get sent to earth by Pandas. Everything regarding her origin is pretty much the same as it was in the comics! Great news, right? What do you think about the series? Sound off below with your thoughts!

The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
