New ASSASSIN'S CREED "Leap Of Faith" Featurette Details That Insane 125 Foot Free Fall Stunt
You know that insane drop Michael Fassbender is seen doing in the trailers? Well, as it turns out, that is 110% a real stunt and we have a brand new featurette explaining exactly how they pulled it off!
When Assassin's Creed hits theaters this winter, prepare to witness one of the highest free falls ever captured on film as well as one of the highest free falls performed by a stuntman in nearly 35 years!
The production team behind the upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular video game series has pulled off one of the coolest stunts in recent memory with Damien Walters, stunt double for Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Apocalypse) as he free falls approximately 125 feet just like an assassin straight out of the game. The scene in question takes place when Fassbender's character, Aguilar, is cornered and has to make a daredevilish escape. Check out this new featurette detailing the stunt below:
Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
