I wish they had someone else in the lead in this!

Just look how short Sam is there! Those everyday soldiers are way taller than him! The lead should be someone at least 6'2" tall to look more heroic! Sam just looks like an ugly midget with a buzzcut!
Where's a pretty guy like Harry Hamlin for the part! If ya look at pictures and statues from this era they aren't wearing buzzcuts. They have longer hair like Harry did in the first Clash!

This may have a ton of FX and CGI but that isn't the
only thing that makes a movie!

I'll still go see the movie though!

I find it funny that I never cared for Hamlin in anything he was in, but I can't imagine anyone else in the original. What a classic.

Wow, those sets look awesome. Glad to see not everything is going to be computer generated in this movie.

I have been wanting to see this movie ever since I heard they were making one. And Sam Worthington is awesome.

the only thing that's gonna hurt the movie a bit is that Sam looks nothing like perseus plus the buzzcut is very unoriginal, however i do trust in his worthyness.

@Punish88r - I totally agree.

It makes me wonder if he's even capable of growing hair lol.

Fun fact, I've recently been playing the remastered God of War collection, and watched the behind the scenes footage. Apparently the voice of Perseus is the actor who played him in the original Clash of the Titans...somewhat relative to the article I guess lol.

@venom001
Lol yeah Harry Hamlin the true perseus was not as aggressive as Sam Worthington is as perseus but the old version is a classic for its fantasy element and campy style plus he looked like perseus more than Sam. Sam looks like a terminator who replaced perseus

@Punish88r
Yeah I don't think Buzzcut Worthington could come close to the epicness that was Hamlin's Persues, but I still like him.

Yeah he probably chose to go back in time to replace Perseus than save John Connor, lol, I'm sure Christian Bale wouldv'e lost it on him worse than he did on set.

I loved the new Terminator, but some of the lines were hliarious, all I have to say is.....HERE!!.....CONNOR!!

Seriously wtf was that!

(kinda got a bit off topic on that one)

Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time, clash of the titans is a classic. This new version looks beautiful, but i doubt that it will better than the original. An action movie at best, it doesn't look like it will have the heart and soul of the classic that I came to love so many years ago.

And Damn that buzzcut.

It looks very impressive but I want to see more acting scenes from Worthington, just to see if he can pull it off.

That Hair that Hair ... there is no hair on the man ... WE all know back in the ancient times they had hair ...

The movie still looks good and can't wait to see it ... Maybe i can imagine him with hair...

i loved the first clash and have been wanting to see this since i first heard about it, with that said his hair doesnt really bother me, its a different movie with different actors so someone's hair is gonna be different. and to everyone that said everyone had long hair in ancient times, people wore wigs, and those that didnt thier hair was normally a sloppy mess, the statues someone spoke of were usually how they percieved or wish to be percieved by the general public. didnt mean to attack or offend anyone with my post just thought everyone was getting too worked up about a haircut

Actually during the ancient times of the Greeks/Persians/ Romans/ Egyptians their hair was usually long...

As for Wigs that was during Meadevil times...

Even the Spartans had long hair and would COMB their hair before a battle....

Also they can't make a statue without a model to start with ... If all they saw were sloppy messes that would be considered the normal and how it should have been and thus the statues would match it....

I'm not worked up about the hair ... alittle disappointed is all... But in ancient times they had long hair so did Alexander the great they wouldn't have painted him or made mosaics as a false hood to what he looked like that just doesn't make any sense

I was on that red/gold set (with the statues): That's the court of the King and Queen of Argos. Indeed Sam looked very small!!!

Funny that us extras spent two hours in hair and make-up each morning (including the use of real gold-leaf applied to our 'Greek' faces and wigs galore; then Sam turns up with the buzzcut!

The 'soldier' in the make-up chair next to me had to have his chest covered in make-up; to hide the rash he had from his waxing!

...oh the memories.... can't wait to 'spot' myself in it!
