This needs to distract him from redoing Battlestar Galactica

Bryan Singer set to direct Jack the Giant Killer a Fantasy adventure by Mark Bomback of LIve Free & Die Hard fame will right the screen play. Story intells a girl being kidnapped & a threating armistice of peace ending between Giants & Humans. This may be his next movie, holding off the Battlestar Galactica remake which is seen widely as a slap in the face to the SyFy (renamed from SciFi) series that just ended earlier 2009.

Side Bar: He has also been rumored to remake of John Boorman's 1981 Oscar-nominated King Arthur tale Excalibur.

You know his movie hits from X-Men, Superman Returns & Valkyrie.

I know him from scrwing up Superman and the X-Men. I hate this guy and as long as he goes nowhere near another CBM he can make whatever he wants.

Spock: I suppose i should have phrased that a little better and what I should of said is that I hate his work - however, i find it a little hard not to hate someone who screwed up Superman (as much as me and LEE disagree, imagine if his Doomsday idea had happenned in Returns instead of the crap with his son! We'd probably be looking forward to a new Superman movie this year rather than worrying if one will ever be made!) Actually, i suppose i do hate him for killing the Superman franchise and IMO [frick]ing up the X-Men!!! :)

Take a good look at that picture that Teabag has of Brian Singer. Seriously, WB trusted this guy with Superman. SUPER"MAN"! He needs to steer clear of CBMs. Or the likes of Marney/Disvel and DC entertainment need to stay clear of him.

As one who absolutely despises, loathes, and detests the SciFi version of BSG, I'm all for the idea of doing a sequel or update to the classic 1978 series. I hope nothing deters that film from happening, even if it means tolerating Singer as director. Richard Hatch had some great ideas for Galactica that are up on YouTube (sorry, I don't know how to post links to there on this site). I'd LOVE to see that movie made.

Now, anything that delays or kills a remake of Excalibur is another story. That is the definitive "serious" version of one of the many legends of King Arthur, and should be left alone. Wby not do one of the many other legends as a movie? I remember reading a whole book of them in high school, and there are some great stories that have never been done on TV or in movies.

X Men 2 was one of the best CBM's ever made.

Comicbookguy, I cant believe anyone could despise BSG! Why exactly?

I saw the original Jack movie years ago, it was like Clash Of THe Titans sort of..I think
