Did anyone else see The Eagle? I think Tater-tots was pretty decent in that. I mean, he won't win any Academy Awards for the performance, but then again we all know they are rigged anyways.

Way back when, I remember a guy named Jim Cameron, and he had an idea for a movie called Wolverine and the X-men. We all know that nobody gives a crap about any G.I. Joe character besides Snake Eyes. The Joes deserve a restart witha decent story and a great director, not some clown who does tweeny bopper high school musical B.S.

Clevver Movies makes stuff up. Check out her "description" of the Captain America SB trailer before it actually aired. She wasn't even close.

They need to add Sgt Slaughter (or create a new similar character - Sgt Rock - played by Dwayne Johnson) and use Gung Ho, Roadblock, Shipwreck, Bazooka, Flint and Lady Jaye. Oh, and the chrome CC mask.

I'll reserve judgment of the director until I see some official photos or a trailer. Good action needs to be choreographed and although he's made dance films he may be able to make a couple of cool action scenes instead of the sloppy mess that most action films have become lately. Also, usually characters in dance films have their own "flare" and with G.I. Joe the characters will need this so they have real personalities that differentiate themselves. Same goes for the costumes. They need to be really different from one another rather than all of them wearing the batman suits. This could actually be a huge improvement over Sommers. Also, Hasbro may have more control over a director like this.

i don't know about they're reputation for stuff so if this is crap then ignore my comment. if this is true then holy shit this movie will be worse than the first one. the director of the justin beaver movie and step up 3d? good god. JGL wont go anywhere near this pos now that he's moved on to more credible stuff with nolan. the first one was at a time when he needed a paycheck, now he doesn't. and splitting up the baroness into several characters? wtf does that even mean? unbelievable.

So this guy, who directed two dance flicks, is going to direct the sequel to a horrible film.
This movie should be patriotic and action packed like Captain America: First Avenger is.
I really couldn't care less about Joseph Gordon-Levitt returning, because they could just put a cobra mask on any actor.
Channing Tatum was an alright Duke, but he's just not a good actor.
Best thing about that film was how bad ass Snake Eyes was.
So this sequel will be Meh?

I say get rid of Duke, ripcord, Heavy duty, and breaker, bring in Flint , beach head and Lady jaye.
Recast scarlett keep Snake eyes, Have Baroness back with Cobra , Put the hood back on the Commander, bring in the Dreadnoks and Fire Fly, oh yeah and Storm Shadow

I actually enjoyed the first one...
but this almost guarentees that I won't enjoy the second one...

The movie stars Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans and is being directed by the director of Step Up 2, Step Up 3D and the Justin Bieber movie.

'nuff said.

They also need to make each character look unique, with unique armour, outfits, weapons and abilities. They all just looked like some random Delta Squad group, all in the exact same armour and weapons. Ultramegafail on all accounts. It didn't just fail as a movie, it failed as a toy movie. There wasn't anything fantastical or interesting about that movie at all, it looked dull, it was dull and I will never pay money for a sequel. They ruined both COBRA and the Joes. Stephen Sommers is HANDS DOWN the worst director on the planet. Although Mark Steven Johnson and Michael Bay sure give him a run for their money...

Bring on tunnel rat, jinx, falcon and good old sgt slaughter and I cant remember husband but the M Ps with the dog I think his name was law and the dog was order. The director never seen any of his stuff is he good I don't know please let me know.

They also need to bring in Flint and Lady Jaye. And Sgt. Slaughter. The REAL Sgt. Slaughter. Have him run the boot camp for new recruits like Beachhead, Barbeque, Alpine, Shipwreck and others.

I really liked Joseph Gordon Levitt in GI JOE....

Idk if all you haters remember the original Cobra Commander, but he was pretty lame...

THe only thing I didn't like about his role was that they didn't put a bag on his head lol

DESTRO rocked too! I want a sequel ASAP! just drop the kid stuff!
