Director Jon M. Chu will pay homage to issue 21 of the G.I. Joe comic book by having a lengthy dialogue-free ninja fight scene featuring Snake Eyes. Also, the film's run-time is currently clocking in at about two hours.

Collider.com conducted this fantastic interview with the G.I. Joe: Retaliation director, Jon M. Chu. They cover a ton of topics such as who is composing the score, deleted scenes, and is there a chance we'll see new Joe's in the film.

To me the most interesting part is the director revealing that there will be a lengthy action scene involving Snake Eyes that will have zero dialogue. That sounds fantastic!
