Here are a few images and a video tweeted by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson concerning filming from the new movie.

If only you could see what I see...

Just got the most bad ass direction ever from a director: "Just kill".

I just want to see a good GI Joe movie that brings out the best of the classic 80s series without turning into another "generic paramilitary squad" movie like the first one was. GI Joe had some great characters and it shouldn't be hard to make a great movie with them.

That looks to be a .50 Cal. round in his hand but, in the pic below that's not a 50 he's holding.

I just hope it's better than the first. It's just hard to try and make Duke more badass with Tatum right now.

I have to admit, eventhough I am not excited with the casting of some of these roles The Rock is the single most rejuvenating aspect of this production. He IS a GI Joe character!

@hoodedjester Even though it was lame, it brought in enough money to warrant them making a sequel. Here's hoping this one isn't lame! GI Joe deserves a good movie.

@zombie - I would love a decent GI Joe movie - I grew up with that show and like many young boys from the 80s, had countless figures and vehicles - hell - we even had the 8 foot long air craft carrier.

I just wish they would make the a more mature version instead of some goofy thing aimed at kids who grew up watching sponge bob.

The Rock is badass but... he's really going to have to work hard to make up for the rest of the poor casting choices to make this movie good. Channing Tatum single handedly ruined the first movie (amongst a few other things but he was the worst part).
