As Paramount's planned
G.I. Joe spinoff/reboot,
Snake Eyes, continues to round out its cast, the latest addition is up-and-coming
Money Heist star Úrsula Corberó.
According to
The Wrap, Corberó will play Cobra's villainous femme fatale, The Baroness. She'll join
Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding as Snake Eyes and
Warrior's Andrew Koji as his nemesis, Storm Shadow.
Sienna Miller previously played the character 2009's
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
Red and
R.I.P.D. director Robert Schwentke is set to helm the movie from a script by
Beauty and The Beast screenwriter Evan Spiliotopoulos. The plot is said to focus on the early days of the silent, masked warrior, as he attempts to join the ranks of the Ninja Clan known as Arashikage.
Snake Eyes is set to hit theaters on Oct. 16, 2020.
